1. People’s Choice Mobile Banking Apps

Bank on the go with the People’s Choice Mobile Banking App.

You’ll be registered for mobile banking if you’re registered for Internet Banking. Download the Android App

from the Google Play Store, the iOS App from the App Store, or visit our website to get started. With the

People’s Choice App, you can:

Bank on the go

Check your account balances

View your transaction history

View uncleared funds

Make transfers and Fast Payments

Create and manage your PayID

Schedule payments

Pay a bill using BPAY®

Activate your card

Change your card’s PIN

Access Secure Code

Locate your nearest branch or ATM

Contact us

The App is supported on the following:

Android version 5.0 and above

iOS version 9.3 or above

2. Register your People’s Choice App

Get started and register your People’s Choice App. Open the App, enter your details into the registration form, then select your 4 digit security PIN. You will be required to:

Enter your member number

Enter your Internet Banking password

Choose a device name (e.g. My iPhone 6, John’s Samsung Phone, Sue’s iPad)

Choose a 4 digit security PIN

Accept the Terms and Conditions

Register for People’s Choice Secure Code

Optional: Biometric Verification for supported devices

2.1 Register for People’s Choice Secure Code People's Choice Secure Code is an extra layer of security built into the App to protect your accounts when you bank online.

Secure Code detects fraud in real time, and you may be prompted to use a secure code when updating your personal details; paying someone for the first time; activating your card; adding a new BPAY biller; while travelling; and, more.

You will be sent an SMS code to register for Secure Code for the first time, and to complete the registration

of your App.

Haven’t received the SMS? Call 13 11 82 to get a One Time Passcode.

2.2 Register an extra device for People’s Choice Secure Code

You can register an extra device for Secure Code when you register your App. ‘Approve’ the push notification on your first device, generate a Secure Code from your first device, or send an SMS to your registered mobile number. Enter the details as prompted and click ‘Register’, then choose to register as an extra device or replace your existing device .

2.3 How to use Secure Code

Push notifications

Secure Code push notifications are generated within the App when you have Wifi and data access. You may be prompted to ‘Approve’ or ‘Deny’ a push notification when banking online. Haven’t received your push notification in 10-15 seconds? Make sure you have push notifications enabled and access to Wifi or data, or generate a 6 digit Secure Code within the App.

Generate a Secure Code

You can generate a 6 digit Secure Code within the People’s Choice App. Tap on the hamburger menu, then tap ‘Secure Code’.

2.4 Set up biometric verification on compatible devices (Touch ID, Fingerprint Login, or Face ID)

Your device may allow you set up biometric verification such as Touch ID, Fingerprint Login, or Face ID.

Tap the hamburger menu, tap ‘Settings and Terms’ then choose the option you’d like to enable.

3. Dashboard

Enter your 4 digit PIN for simple access to your accounts, BPAY and Pay Anyone from your App’s home

screen. Tap on the hamburger menu for more options, or swipe left to discover what’s new with People’s

Choice.

4. Accounts

4.1 Check your accounts

Account balances can be viewed:

‘Accounts’ on the hamburger menu

Tap on the account you want to view when logged in, and select the information icon on the top right corner

of the screen to view extra account information.

4.2 Check your accounts with Quick Balance

Quick Balance is a fast and easy option to view up to four of your accounts without logging into the App.

Tap Quick Balance on the dashboard and select ‘Setup Quick Balance’ to get started.

Tap on the Quick Balance icon located to the right of the account balance. The icon will be highlighted

when active, and you can tap to remove

View your Quick Balance by opening the App and tapping ‘Quick Balance’. You will need to log in to use

your App.

4.3 View your account history

Select the account you want to view and scroll up or down to view past transactions.

Tap on the magnifying glass on the Accounts screen to view Debits or Credits only and/or transactions

containing a specific word. To select a different account, tap on the down arrow to the right side of the

account balance and choose the account you want to view.

4.4 View your uncleared funds

Uncleared Funds will appear right above the transaction listing of the account you have selected and

include: Visa purchases, Manual holds, Pay Easy payments, and Cheque deposits.

Uncleared funds within the transaction listing feature an hourglass icon.

5. Transfers

5.1 Make a transfer between your People’s Choice accounts.

Select the hamburger menu, select ‘Transfer’, select ‘Pay’ or select the dollar symbol at the bottom of the

page. Enter the transfer details and once ready, tap the green arrow, and follow the prompts to confirm

payment.

5.2 Send and receive Fast Payments with PayID

Send and receive payments without sharing your BSB and account number with PayID. PayID links your

account to your mobile number or email to make easy payments.

You will be required to:

Accept the Terms and Conditions

Enter the PayID verification code sent to your Australian mobile number or email

Register your PayID

Select the hamburger menu, then select ‘Manage PayID’ then select ‘Get started’ or ‘Create New PayID’, if

registering an extra PayID.

Enter your mobile number or email, link your PayID to an eligible account, then choose your ‘Short Name’

from the list of approved options.

PayID already in use? You will need to enter a code sent to your registered mobile number or email to

verify that you own the PayID and lodge a dispute.

Manage a PayID

Manage your PayIDs by tapping the hamburger menu, then ‘Manage PayID’ and select the PayID you wish

to update.

Transfer your PayID to a different account or financial institution

Tap ‘PayID Settings’, tap ‘Transfer’, then follow the prompts within 14 days.

Lock or close your PayID

Temporarily lock your PayID by tapping ‘PayID Settings’, then select ‘Lock PayID’.

Permanently close your PayID by tapping ‘PayID Settings’, then select ‘Close PayID’.

Manage failed payments

Failed payments can be viewed on the failed payments bar in ‘Accounts’ or through the ‘bell’ on the App’s

home screen.

Tap the payment to view the reason for the failed payment, and then choose to delete the payment or retry

with the correct payment details.

5.3 Make a transfer with Pay Anyone

Select the hamburger menu then select ‘Pay Anyone’; select ‘Pay’ from the Account’s Bar; or, select the

dollar symbol at the bottom of the page.

Choose from your Saved Payee list, or add a ‘New Payee’, then select between a PayID or BSB/Account

Number. Your payee will automatically save to your Saved Payee list.

Enter the transfer details then tap the green button at the bottom of the screen and follow the prompts to

confirm payment.

5.4 Update your ‘Saved Payee’ list for Pay Anyone

Swipe left on the payee and select ‘Edit’ to update their information and select ‘Save’.

5.5 Schedule and maintain a scheduled transfer and BPAY® Select ‘Scheduled’, select ‘Transfer’, ‘Pay Anyone’ or ‘BPAY’; then select ‘Later’ to schedule a payment for a future date, or ‘Recurring’ to create a regular payment. Enter the payment details, select ‘Continue’, review the details and select ‘Schedule Transfer’ if correct. You can view and manage your payments from within this menu item.

5.6 Remove a scheduled payment

Swipe the transfer bar to the left then tap ‘Delete’.

5.7 Print or share a receipt of your transfer or payment Once the transfer is complete, tap the download button at the bottom of the receipt screen and select your sharing option.

6. Cards

Manage your cards in the App through ‘Card Management’ in the hamburger menu.

6.1 Activate your card

Select the inactive card, enter the expiry month and year as MM/YY and tap ‘Activate’.

6.2 Change your card’s PIN Tap on the active card and select ‘Change Card PIN’, enter the new PIN, confirm the PIN number and tap ‘Change’.

Please note that card images may not represent your actual card.

6.3 Add your cards to Apple Pay in your App

Discover new ways to pay by adding your People’s Choice cards to Apple Pay from within your App.

Tap ‘Add your cards now’ on the Dashboard, or tap ‘Card Management’, select a card to add to Apple Pay,

tap ‘Add to Apple Wallet’, and follow the prompts. When a card is activated the ‘Apple Pay enabled’ icon

will be highlighted.

7. BPAY

7.1 Pay a bill with BPAY®

Tap the BPAY icon on the home screen or the hamburger menu, and then tap ‘BPAY’. Choose from your Saved Payee list or select ‘New Biller’, if you are paying them for the first time. Select the ‘Save Payee’ check box to save a new biller.

7.2 Print or share a receipt of your BPAY® payment Once the transfer is complete, tap the download button at the bottom of the receipt screen and select your sharing option.

7.3 Schedule a BPAY® payment

Select ‘Scheduled’, select ‘BPAY’, then select ‘Later’ to schedule a payment for a future date, or ‘Recurring’ to create a regular payment.

Enter the payment details, select ‘Continue, review the details and select ‘Schedule Transfer’ if correct.

You can view and manage your payments from within this menu item.

8. Loans

8.2 Redraw from your loan account Select the hamburger menu, select ‘Transfer’, then select your loan as the ‘From Account’ and ensure you transfer the minimum redraw amount. Haven’t registered your redraw facility? Call 13 11 82, or visit your nearest branch.

9. Locate your nearest branch or ATM

Tap the hamburger menu, select ‘Locate Us’, then enter your location.

Branch: Select the green branch icon on the map to view branch details and opening hours.

ATM: Select the red ATM icon on the map to view ATM details

10. PIN or password reset

10.1 Reset your App PIN Tap the hamburger menu, select ‘App Settings, then ‘Change App PIN’ or select ‘Forgot your App PIN’ from here or via the login page. Only one membership can be registered to your People’s Choice App.

10.2 Reset your Internet Banking password

Visit Internet Banking at digitalonline.peopleschoicecu.com.au, click ‘Reset Password’, then follow the prompts.

11. Log out of the People’s Choice App Tap the ‘Logout’ icon on the top right corner.

Hamburger menu provides menu options and is located on the top left corner of the App.

Quick Balance is highlighted when an account is activated for Quick Balance.

Pay shortcut can be selected to transfer, Pay Anyone, or BPAY a bill.

Schedule and maintain transfers and BPAY payments.

Set up and manage your PayID through the PayID icon.
