Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between The Lala National High School and _______________________________________ This historic MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT between the Lala National High School, represented by its school head, Mr. Oscar S. Dolorin - The Principal, and the ______________________________________________, represented by the _______________________________________________________________ and its member, recognizes the importance of establishing a government-to- non-government relationship that fosters mutual understanding, shared responsibilities and a commitment to working together for the improvement of student learning. This agreement recognizes the importance of developing and supporting the Senior High School curriculum that relates to the course immersion and future hiring for all students in the Senior High School. It also recognizes that improvements are needed in the education of the youth to strengthen their academic/vocational achievement and enhance life opportunities, and that the education of the SHS beneficiaries can be advanced by providing curriculum that includes one aspect of Information Technology – Computer Hardware Servicing experiences and perspectives. I. INTENT THIS AGREEMENT is hereby made and entered into by the Lala National High School, hereinafter referred to as the School, and the ___________________________________, hereinafter referred to as the Non-Government, who will collaborate to establish thorough support on Senior High School curriculum. II. SCOPE OF AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT is intended to establish Senior High School Curriculum With TVET TECHVOC Track (CHS) under the oversight of the Lala National High School. III. DATE AND TERM THIS AGREEMENT will become effective upon signing by all parties and will commence at the start of the 2016 -2017 school year. The Agreement shall be reviewed annually by the parties to determine its continuation and/or need for modification. PARTIES’ MUTUAL RESPONSIBILITIES Work cooperatively to ensure appropriate, efficient communication in support of the objectives of this agreement.

PARTIES’ MUTUAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Work cooperatively to ensure appropriate, efficient communication in support of the objectives of this agreement.

Ensure consistent attendance by School/Non-Government representatives at all meetings and functions related to accomplishing the objectives of this agreement.

Regularly share information about students’ successes and barriers to success with the intent to improve support and ensure high school completion by students served by this curriculum.

Schedule annually a joint meeting of the Lala National High School and _____________________________________________ to confer on the academic

progress of SHS students and review the status of support programs related to SHS curriculum.

Work jointly to create a program of school and non-government support exchanges and celebrations.

LALA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL’S RESPONSIBILITIES

Convene a Transparency Review Committee (TRC) for the purpose of recommending changes, enhancement or modification of strategies, techniques and effectiveness.

Ensure the TRC includes appropriate representation from the School.

Ensure the TRC considers support that incorporates information specifically related to the Senior High School curriculum in the area of Computer Hardware Servicing.

Provide use of facilities and staff support necessary for the implementation of SHS curriculum.

Explore potential sources of funding or other resources for development and implementation of SHS curriculum.

Use due diligence in reviewing the recommendations of the TRC and identifying the appropriate areas of support.

Identify the appropriate areas of support and establish, in consultation with the curriculum, an implementation strategy.

Provide staff training and instructional materials related to the identified curriculum.

Regularly monitor progress on implementation of the identified curriculum.

Provide information to parents, students and the community regarding the implementation of the SHS curriculum.

Identify appropriate representatives of the School to serve on the Transparency Review Committee convened by the School to recommend identified needs to be supported.

Provide information regarding the students’ immersion that may be useful in enhancing the support.

Facilitate participation by the ________________________________________in sharing perspectives and commitments that may be useful in enhancing the SHS curriculum.

Assist in identifying and accessing other resources to support the development and implementation of SHS curriculum.

Encourage other sectors to support the immersion that will assist students in benefitting from the SHS curriculum.

Assist in promoting awareness of and support for the SHS curriculum project.

Encourage member participation as organized under this agreement.
