Introduction

� In India first factory was started in 1985 by a factory

under the name Teejan Foods Pvt. Ltd. The company

also owns the brand name `LAZZA'. The owners of the

brand envisaged a franchise route for a faster and 

better spread of the brand. Accordingly many franchise

agreements were signed.

� Lazza franchising system is very simple and is as

under; it has two parts one is transfer of technical 

knowhow and the other is use of brand name.

a) Transfer of technical know how

E ntire technical know how for manufacture of ice cream/frozen dessert and icelollies from selection of land, building design, plant design, layout,

selection of machinery, electrification etc«

b) Supply of stabilizer and emulsifier 

Special Stabilizer and emulsifier used for manufacture of icecream/icelollies will be supplied from India at a very competitive price.

c) Advice on selection and purchase of machinery and equi pments

Principals role in this is advisory only and final decision to purchase theequipment will lie with the franchisee.

d) Use of Brand Name

Their brand name which can be adopted is Lazza owned by Teejan Foods(P) Ltd. The use of brand name is given for 10 years on payment of Royaltyof 1% sales turn over.

By this I conclude tat, by my analysis, this company

is providing a good qualitative and tasteful product,

which is of low price and it is loved by everyone.
