SPECIAL VOTER’S MEETING Following the 10:45 am service on Sunday, July 26 th there will be a brief, informational only Special Voter’s Meeting to provide an update on the building project. LUTHERAN WOMEN'S MISSIONARY LEAGUE (LWML) MITE BOX COLLECTION You may have seen members of our congregation's LWML (WIM) collecting "mites" after church services on the first Sunday of every month. But do you know where that money goes? Based on the Biblical account of the widow's mite (Luke 21:1-4), the mite box is intended for regular contributions of "mites" - offerings above and beyond the support given to congregations and the LCMS. Mite box contributions amount to millions of dollars that fund district and national mission grants and implement the LWML program. Additionally, there are small "mite boxes" on the kiosk in the Welcome Center. Please consider taking a box to fill up with the loose change around your house. Thanks!! FAMILY FUN & FELLOWSHIP EVENT!! Mark your calendars and get ready for the Family Olympics to be held at Thomas Park on Saturday, July 25 th from 9:00 am – Noon. April has a ton of fun (and super easy!) games for all ages. You won’t want to miss all the fun!! ALTAR FLOWER OPENINGS See Joan Johnson if you would like to sign up for an arrangement on August 2 nd , August 23 rd or August 30 th . NEXT BLOOD DRIVE @ MLC Get out your calendars and mark Aug. 4 th for our third drive of 2015. Come on down and enjoy some fellowship, juice and of course, cookies, after making your donation which can help up to three people. It takes just a few minutes on our part to save someone’s life. We’re counting on you (whether a long-time donor or your first time) to make this drive a huge success!! June 21, 2015 July 19, 2015

    WOMEN IN

    CARE KITS

    FOR THE

    HOMELESS

Thank you to everyone who contributed money and

supplies for our June mission project. With all of the

donations, we were able to put together 130 bags

containing personal care items, food items, and Portals of

Prayer for those in need. We have placed some of the

bags in a basket in the Welcome Center. We invite you to

participate in this ministry and take some of the bags with

you to share with the homeless in our community.

    KCM SUNDAY

COLLECTION Thank you for your donations

    today which will purchase Surf

    laundry detergent for personal

care bags to be handed out in

August. The families are very grateful and your support is

    much appreciated!!

    VISION FOR KENYA

October is just days away; it only

seems far off. There are plans,

    training, and advance work in

    Kenya and locally. The work:

    apart from traveling and working

    with some special volunteers in

Kenya, we have inventory and packing the supplies to

    replace here. After the mission

    trip, there is inventory,

    unpacking, and ordering

    replacement supplies. We need

    transportation to and from the

    airport for several boxes

(maybe even a person or two).

Much to do, and many ways to

help! As always, Pastor Dale is

    eager to speak with you.

    EXCITING SUMMER BIBLE STUDY CONTINUES

Join Pastor Mike this summer for an in-depth study of The

Revelation to John. Many Christians are intimidated or

scared by the book of Revelation, but it is a beautiful

book, full of encouragement and hope for God's

persecuted and oppressed people. We will read through

the book, discuss its background, imagery, purpose, and

do some comparisons of the different views of the end

times. Join us in the Loomis Center during the Bible

Study hour (9:30-10:30 am) this summer and be

    encouraged by God's promises

    in Jesus Christ.

    CHRIST CLINIC

    ITEM OF THE MONTH

    kitchen-sized trash bags

    Your donations, always

    greatly appreciated, may be

placed in the box by the Welcome Center elevator.

    Thanks!
