SIP Phone Provisioning
• An administrator can manage devices assigned to end users in an organization
• SIP phones page can be used for managing SIP phones associated to the organization

Snom Phone Provisioning
1. Enter the SIP phone IP address in a web browser
– login with username=’Admin’, password=’pw357-’
! Note: SIP phone must be in Admin mode for this option to be visible
(password=’3579’)

Snom Phones Configuration Download
• Select update tab.
• Enter the following values:
– Update policy: ”Update automatically”
– Setting URL: can be found in bcs web admin interface under devices/SIP phones
page
– Subscribe config: ”off”, PnP config: ”off”
• Click ’Save’ and then ’Reboot’

Snom Phone Configuration
• To edit and configure a SIP phone, select a Snom phone from Admin portal >
Devices > SIP Phones and click on it
No static user assignment. Manual user log in on
phone.
Text description, e.g. ‘Organization–User’
Emergency location
General Information about the selected SIP phone
Unprovisioned or user assigned
Identify which VLAN the phone will belong to
and set the priority
Tone scheme for the phone.
Codecs to be used for the phone. Admin could
arrange the priority order

• Provision multiple phones by filling out the settings in a file to be uploaded
to the system.
• Settings of configured phones can be downloaded
• Could be performed by administrator from Admin portal > Devices > SIP

Bulk handling of SIP phones
• Export all SIP phones to a semi-colon separated file
• Import semi-colon separated file containing SIP phone configuration
• CSV file contains:
• Mac address format example: 0004132388A5
• Type snom360/snom360/snom320/snom370
• Description free text
• Emargency location according to configuration in System/Device locations
• Tone scheme AUS/CHN/DNK/GBR/GER/IND/JPN/MEX/SWE/SWI/USA
• Codecs, comma separated G.711u,G.711a,G.722,G.726-32,GSM FR,G.729A,G.723.1
• Syslog server IP address
• Log level 0-9
• Admin mode true/false
• Free seating true/false
• Expansion module true/false

Cloud provisioning of Siemens/Unify desk phones
1. Contact Siemens/UNIFY to register an account.(openstage redirection code will be
provided to you at the registration)
2. Login to Management Node and go to System > General settings and configure
openstage redirection code provided by Siemens/Unify at the registration.
1. In Admin view go to Devices and select SIP phones. In SIP phones page find Cloud
pin. (Cloud pin is unique for each organization)
2. Customer needs to enter cloud pin on the first boot on their phone

Support for Mitel 68xx desk phones
• Added support for Mitel 6863i, 6865i, 6867i and 6869i desk phones
• The following functionality is supported by the devices:

Support for Mitel MiVoice phones
• Support for Mitel MiVoice Conference Phone and MiVoice Video Phone devices
have been added.
• The following functionality is supported:
• Automatic device configuration using SIP phones configuration settings in
system. The configuration URL must be set manually in the device.
• Voice calls
• Video calls
• 4-party conference calls with voice or video
NOTE: Video calling requires the MiVoice Video phone. MiVoice Conference phone
only support audio. SRTP is only supported for voice calls.

Cloud provisioning of Mitel 68xx phones
1. Login to to auto provisioning rcs.aastra.com (login details provided at registration)
2. Go to Servers and add one
a. Select a name for the server
b. Enter the provisioning URL from the info available
in SIP Phones Page (https server+http path in SIP phone page)
a. For Firmware select 4.0.0.92-SIP version or above
3. Add your phone

Note when phone reboots the first time if Mac is registered then the phone gets
provisioned on the org level

Manual Provisioning of MiVoice video phones
• Login to MiVoice video phone device from the Menu settings > Advanced using “admin“
as password
• Select System Settings > Web Server Settings, make sure that ‘Web server’ is enabled
• Go to System Settings > SIP settings and enter the following fields:
• Server address: company.domain i.e. telepo.com
• Username: username i.e. John.smith (without company.domain)
• Display name: this field is optional
• Login Name: same as username
• Password: user credential for the service
• Select TLS or TCP or UDP based on Network configuration (TLS recommended)
Do not select TLS If your Edge node SSL certificate is not among the list below

Cloud Provisioning of MiVoice video phones
1. Go to Admin view > Devices > SIP phones and copy Settings URL for Mitel MiVoice
Conference Phones
1. Find IP address of the phone in Phones Menu > Settings > Advanced settings > About
phone > Phone IP
2. Make sure that “Web Server” is enabled in System Settings in the phone
3. Login to the Phone IP address using username “ admin” and password ”admin”
*Note: Do Not use Chrome

5. Select Configuration from the Menu and Enter the settings URL
6. Reboot the phone
7. Go to Admin view > Devices > SIP phones page and assign the phone to a user –
(explained in next slide)

User provisioning of MiVoice video phones
1. Go to Admin view > Devices > SIP phones page and find the phone you
provisioned on the organization and click on it
2. In Function keys, select a line and assign in to a user
3. Reboot the phone

Enable video in MiVoice Video Phone
• Login to MiVoice Video phone device from the Menu settings > Advanced using
“admin“ as password
• Go to System Settings and select Camera settings (requires your camera to be
connected to the network)
• Press Search in Camera Menu and find your camera
• Go to SIP settings and make sure that video codec list is enabled
• Press and hold to enable the video codecs
Note that when using the MiVoice video phone you must connect it to a screen via
HDMI
If all steps above are taken you‘ll see the camera control icon available on the
phone screen

Support for 68xx Expansion Modules
• Added GUI to allow customers to assign keys on the expansion modules (Mitel
M680i and M685i phones)
• Provisioned via Admin view > Devices > SIP phones page by Org Administrator

1 Check ‘Has expansion module’ and Save 2 Plug in the expansion modules to the desk phone,
system auto detects and gives the configure link
NOTE:
You may need to reboot the phone manually and reload the GUI to have
the ‘Configure’ link.

• To connect a DECT phone to the base station, follow the steps below:

Press the Menu button (top rightmost
button), browse to System then select OK
Select Subscription then select OK.
The Auth. Code field is displayed
Type the default code 22222 and select
Next
The phone will search for a base station,
name is displayed in the Park ID optionSelect OK to accept the base station.
If the phone do not find the base station, you can
enter a Park ID manually
