May 6, 2005 Concerning: Letter of Employment Reference for Brandon Martin To Whom It May Concern: This letter is written to confirm that Brandon Martin was an employee with our firm for the period September 2004 to December 2004, supplementing his education with a work term as part of his Sheridan College Architectural Technology program. The scope of his work in the office involved assisting staff Architects preparing Contract Documents in AutoCAD 2000 format. In addition, this work term offered Brandon full exposure through observation in a small, active office environment to project activities in all phases of development from design through construction. Brandon showed an excellent ability to work within a team, an eagerness to learn and excellent 2 dimensional CAD capabilities, given with his limited office experience. In addition, we observed that he took directions well and completed basic tasks with minimal supervision while progressing well in his knowledge and application of basic detailing and assembly of contract documents. It is our opinion that Brandon would be an asset to an architectural office as a productive Junior Technologist providing very capable CAD support on projects with supervising support while continuing to advance his technical knowledge of architectural construction and detailing.
