that we have to extinguish all antipathy in us.

IMPROVE AND GROW IN SHARED MISSION

IN OUR CENTERS

After breakfast, gathered once more in the General

Chapter hall, the moderator of the sessions of the

day, Fr. Andrés asked Mr. Bernat Alemany to present

the ten items that the CEJR (Colleges -Centers JR) are

using to evaluate the work and effort of the board of

directors.

REFLECTION ON YESTERDAY´S WORK IN GROUPS

Favorable remarks: It was a moment of enrichment

and a confirmation of how we have to go about on

our charismatic journey (P. S. Ngah). The analysis

that Fr. José Cristo Garcia did about consecrated life

are real, attractive and motivating (P. Miquel Mas-

caró). There is a big harmony charismatic and mis-

sionary (P. Emilio Velasco).

FUTURE AND PORVENIR (UNPREDICTABLE)

According to Kierkegaard, future is what makes our

present to move forward while porvenir is what we

cannot control. We are in part responsible for what

will happen but we have to be ready for surprises. Fr.

José also said, that consecrated life has two births:

first and second. The first birth is obvious: the time of

our foundation. Speaking about the second birth, he

insisted that consecrated life was founded for life and not

for death. He also said that another community is possible

under the guidance of the Spirit of Jesus.

ECOSYSTEM OF SPIRITUALITY:

PROCESS OF TRANSFORMATION

Kierkegaard said many human beings are living without

knowing that they are spiritual beings.

According to Teillard de Chardin, we are spiritual beings

with human experience.

NEW PERSPECTIVE (DRINK FROM PERSONAL WELL)

The concept of ecosystem of the spirituality enables us

to discover the charisma of our Founder.

The charisma of the congregation can be compared to

musical score that we have to interpret and convert it into

a coherent experience.

There is need for new practices inspired in the founda-

tional charisma

Spirituality of communion. This is the time of co-

inspiration and collaboration

COMMUNITIES – OIKOS, CONFIGURED BY MISSION

Traditionally, we believe that community makes o do

mission. Actually, mission makes the community. This is

because mission configures the community. The Holy

Spirit is the protagonist of mission. We are simple collab-

orators.

THE CENTRALITY OF THE MISSIO DEI

Accomplices of the Holy Spirit, the new paradigm of Mis-

sion: the Holy Spirit is the protagonist. The Church spins

around mission. It is from the entrails of the Father. The

Spirit of the Son realizes it in the world.

“No es el derecho canónico el que configura la Iglesia. Es

el Espíritu Santo. Hay que estar muy atentos para descu-

brir por dónde el Espíritu lleva a la Iglesia y como la confi-

gura. Y el fenómeno al que me refiero es uno de ellos. En

la Iglesia hay formas estables de vida, hay movimientos,

hay familias carismáticas.

Este panorama legitima el que haya entre nosotros per-

sonas con una identidad carismática “compleja”. En deter-

minadas personas se cruzan diversas pertenencias caris-

máticas, que no deberían sorprendernos: que uno sea

franciscano y al mismo tiempo pertenezca a la renovación

carismática o a los focolares. O que alguien que pertene-

ce a los neocatecumenales se sienta muy identificado con

el carisma de san Juan de Dios y lo explicite en su vida.

Quien es agraciado con el Espíritu puede hablar diversas

lenguas. Las estructuras eclesiales deben dar nombre y

estabilidad a los maravillosos caprichos del Espíritu y no

encorsetarlo.

Debido a las nuevas situaciones, no pocos Institutos han

llegado a la convicción de que su carisma puede ser com-

partido con los Laicos. Estos son invitados por tanto a

participar de manera más intensa en la espiritualidad y

en la misión del Instituto mismo. En continuidad con las

experiencias históricas de las diversas Órdenes seculares

o Terceras Órdenes, se puede decir que se ha comenzado

un nuevo capítulo, rico de esperanzas, en la historia de

las relaciones entre las personas consagradas y el laicado

(VC, 54).

Hay que alentar estos nuevos caminos de comunión y

colaboración por varios motivos:

a) la irradiación de la espiritualidad más allá de las

fronteras del Instituto, le aportará nuevas ener-

gías; asegurará así la continuidad de formas caris-

máticas de servicio;

b) la integración de esfuerzos entre religiosos y Lai-

cos, y la introducción en la experiencia directa del

espíritu de las Bienaventuranzas;

c) la participación de los Laicos lleva a descubrir

inesperadas y fecundos aspectos del carisma, sus-

citando una interpretación más espiritual, e im-

pulsando a encontrar válidas indicaciones para

nuevas dinamismos apostólicos;

d) las personas consagradas podrán ejercer su fun-

ción de guías expertos de vida espiritual; los laicos

ofrecerán a las familias religiosas la rica aporta-

ción de su secularidad y de su servicio específico

(VC, 54).

La adhesión de los Laicos a los institutos bajo la fórmula

de miembros asociados, o de personas que comparten,

durante un cierto tiempo, la vida comunitaria y la particu-

lar entrega a la contemplación o al apostolado del Institu-

to, siempre que no sufra daño alguno la identidad del

Instituto (VC, 56).

“EI voluntariado se nutre de las riquezas de la vida con-

sagrada; es preciso cuidar su formación para mayor com-

petencia, motivaciones espirituales y sentido comunitario

y eclesial. Las iniciativas decididas por los Laicos son con-

sideradas obras del Instituto cuando responden a los fi-

nes propios del Instituto y son realizadas bajo responsa-

bilidad...” (VC, 56).

Estamos superando la idea medieval de los “estados de

vida cristiana”, como estados separados y distintos, a la

idea de “formas de vida cristiana”, o “formas estables de

vida cristiana”. Descubrimos que el don carismático de

nuestros fundadores se ha derramado no solo sobre

quienes somos en la Iglesia oficialmente reconocidos co-

mo religiosos, sino sobre los Laicos sin acepción de per-

sonas, y a veces, sobre hombres y mujeres de otras con-

fesiones cristianas y aun religiones.

La vida consagrada está, por ello, descubriendo una

nueva estructura bajo la cual se integran y entran en co-

munión todas aquellas personas (mujeres o varones, de

una forma de vida cristiana u otra) que se sienten agra-

ciadas con el mismo don carismática. Esa estructura es “la

familia carismática”.

Este acontecimiento es de tal entidad que la exhorta-

ción Vita consecrata lo reconoce y afirma que “el carisma

de un instituto de vida consagrada puede ser compartido

con los Laicos” (VC, 54).

1. THE ICON OF THE BURNING BUSH

Fr. Joachim Rosselló at mont Randa met with the Sacred Hearts in the bush and thorns of the oppressed

and suffering people. His prayer: Divine charity, Sacred Fire... Symbol of Fire that light/ignite/purify us.

2. THE PARADIGMA OF JONAH

It portrays the carriture of the anti-prophet: apathy, resistance, escape, lack of empathy with the heart of

God. The fact of being transported in the belly of a whale (Let the will of God be done) denotes the idea of

a difficult and dangerous mission (universalism and mercy without limits).

3. THE SACRED HEARTS, OUR CENTRAL POINT

The Transpierced on the cross who gives his life for all. It is the revelation of the maternal womb of the

Son of God who engenders the Church in labour of blood and water.

The Heart of Mary, heart of the female Church (attentive, servant, revolution of tenderness, cordial)

We have to focus more on the Holy Spirit given to us in order to understand and renew the memory of

Jesus and our particular charisma in this XXI century without heart.

4. CREATE OASIS IN THE MIDLE OF THE DESERT

Characteristics our ancestors transmitted to us:

a) Strengthen contemplation and prayer.

b) create communities that are united by the new commandment of Love and missionary fire.

c) insertion in the church and local churches.

d) Cordial hospitality without difference of creed, etc.

e) Serve the Transpierced through the transpierced, healing the wounded hearts and breaking chains.

The Fundacion Concordia Solidaria, charity work of the Congregation.

f) The Church that comes out from the Transpierced promotes the commun priesthood of the

faithfuls, with new ministeries, equality of women and Shared mission.

5. OPEN TO THE SPIRIT THAT RECREATES ALL THINGS

a) Our charisma is christological, marian within the big sacricordian family. It is the spirituality of the

heart.

b) but we we need to open ourselves now to the Spirit of the Father and Jesus, who now Works

through the signs of our time (renewed spirituality, the Church of the little ones and the poor, com-

mon House...).

c) Presently, Africa is the continent of our hope where our charisma and spirituality are recreated (with

the name of women, color of the oppressed who are crying to overcome oppression that subject

her...)

d) That is how we have to approach the future (novelty that depends on our colaboration) and the

unpredictable (porvenir) with the aim of creating little oasis in middle of the desert of the world.

RECREATE THE CARISMA OF THE NEW

In the first week of our General Chapter, with the help of Fr. José

Cristo Rey Garcia Paredes, we had a good ilumination which can

help us to understand better our carisma. Here is the synthesis:

Chers amis capitulaires, ici chez nous, la maison des

«Congregantes mayores » de Palma, nous vous disons

Bonjour. Moi, personnellement, Je vous félicite tous. Ce

que vous décidez, c’est pour notre bien. J’ai lu les résu-

més des rapports des délégations. C’est intéressant de

les analyser « desde fuera » et à partir de dehors, on voit

l’ambiance du 20e Chapitre. Bon, il faut comprendre. La

physionomie de la Congrégation a changé. Vous avez

pointé dans «Buisson Ardant », la présence africaine.

C’est intéressant. De puis 1967 à 2020 il ya une belle dis-

tance de 53 ans. C’est normal. L’Afrique a aimé la Congré-

gation et nous y sommes. C’est un bon signe que nos

grands frères Santos Ganuza, Merchior Fullana, Mariano

Ituria, Francesco Oviedo, Javier Anout, Guillermo Bauzá,

José Ramón Osaba, etc..pour ne citer que les premiers,

ont bien travaillé. Vous vous demandez comment sera la

Congrégation msscc sans l’Europe ? ou sans l’Espagne ?

Vous voulez dire sans le premier monde? Le monde éco-

nomique ! C’est un problème, oui. Mais nous cherche-

rons les moyens. L’autofinancement dans nos déléga-

tions africaines est comme «un vieux chant de la litur-

gie ». Nous en parlons chaque jour. Et notre initiative ? Il

faut changer la mentalité et la façon d’agir.

Ce qui m’a étonné dernièrement, les jeunes mission-

naires en Afrique sont ordonnés sans utopie, sans idéal

pour faire quelque chose. Certains sont découragés oui,

ordonnés…mais découragés par la pauvreté des familles,

par les conflits sociopolitiques, le génocide au Rwanda, la

guerre… la présence des confrères d’autres pays, conti-

nent… ils viennent déjà fatigués. Ils n’ont pas aucune uto-

pie pour changer la congrégation, faire quelque chose

dans la société, changer l’Afrique, changer quelque chose

dans mon pays, faire quelques chose. Au contraire, ce

que j’ai remarqué, certains de nos jeunes msscc (pas

tous) viennent mécontents, entrain d’insulter tout le

monde. Que les premiers missionnaires n’ont rien fait. La

solution pour certains c’est quitter la congrégation. Re-

gardez combien qui sont dans la salle d’attente ? (para

salir). Une autre chose pour recruter les laïcs msscc :

regardez les salésiens, les jésuites, les franciscains, les

carmes, …ils ne prennent pas n’importe qui. 3 condi-

tions : homme ou femme de foi, quelques études ou in-

tellectuel ayant des moyens économiques. Sinon, c’est un

laic msscc qui ne fait rien, qui devient par après un far-

deau de la délégation.

Pour terminer, je suis en train de prier, j’arrive au 3e

jours, pour que le Prochain Conseil Supérieur de la Con-

grégation de ce Sexenium (2020-2026), ne ferme pas

d’autres maisons. Faisons une bonne distribution du per-

sonnel mais, s’il vous plait, ne fermez plus les maisons ou

communautés. N’ya-t-il pas moyen d’éviter de vendre le

patrimoine de la Congrégation ? Nos grands frères ont

lutté pour ouvrir ces communautés pour avoir ce patri-

moine. Ayons l’amabilité de les garder. Et évitons encore

de dire les «mallorcains, les artajonais, les africains, les

camerounais, les rwandais….sont incapables de…». Une

conclusion qui part « du particulier au général » est une

erreur philosophique. Regardez l’histoire de l’Eglise.

L’Eglise est de Jésus Christ, nous sommes à son service.

En 1773 (21 juillet), le Pape Clément XIV a supprimé dans

l’Eglise les jésuites…. Et voilà le Pape actuel Francescus

est jésuite. On croyait que les jésuites allaient disparaitre.

Jésus les a gardés. Courage, n’ayons pas peur. Notre con-

grégation est «Opus Dei », l’œuvre de Dieu comme disait

P. Joachim Rosselló.

W e started the day as usual with morning prayers and the

holy Eucharist, animated by the Delegation of Plata, Ar-

gentina. Fr. Yves Ateba presided over it while Fr. Pierre

Nolasque concelebrated with him. In his homily, the cel-

ebrant invited us to emulate the good example of the young David

in saving the life of Saul. He also stated that the authority most of

us have in the congregation at all levels is not to persecute others

rather to serve them as our brothers and sisters. After mass, it

was time for us to take breakfast.

At 9:30AM, we assembled at the General Chapter hall where Sr.

Viviana introduced us to the program of the day: elaboration of

the lines of actions for the future six years. For that, she gave us a

document, rekindling the fire of our charisma, which contains pro-

posed lines of actions based on the answers of each Delegation to

the Instrument 1 and 2 of the pre-chapter work. The document,

prepared by Frs. Emilio, Daniel and Sr. Viviana, contains six lines of

action:

1. Sacricordian mission

2. Sacricordian community

3. Sacricordian contemplation

4. Sacricordian youth

5. Sacricordian animation o leadership

6. Sacricordian economy.

We were instructed to read the whole document but enrich only

two of six lines and actions: Sacricordian community and sacricor-

dian contemplation.

Then we went in to our various groups to work. Two hours after,

we came back to the hall where we shared the work done in the

different groups. Sr. Viviana coordinated this moment.

The Secretary of our General Chapter, Anaclet Mbuguje,

projected the Works done by each group so that the as-

sembly can perceive the contributions of each group.

We were only able to agree on one line and its actions

before going for lunch. After lunch, we had little time to

rest before continuing with our work. The assembly ap-

proved more lines and actions. All the approved lines and

actions were hand over for editing to a team comprising of

Fr. Simon Ngah, Gaspar Alemany and Mrs. Estela. After

editing them, they will present them again to the assembly

for approval.

At 5:50, we took a deserved break. Later on, we went

again into groups, this time around, to work on sacricordi-

an mission. We worked until 8:00PM when we went back to the hall for evening prayers. At

8:30PM, we left for dinner.

Les comunicamos que, durante este Capítulo, ha falle-

cido este conocido laico dominicano, a quien todos apo-

daban Roberto Nacido el 29/08/1964 en el paraje san

Miguel, del municipio deFantino, provincia Sánchez Ra-

mírez, Rep. Dominicana. Hijo de los señores Hipólito

Ventura y Graciela Gómez, el quinto de 10 hermanos.

Madurito ya, con 36 años, contrajo matrimonio con la

señora Roberta Goris, quien se mantuvo a su lado tanto

en los momentos de felicidad como en los momentos

ingratos. Desde muy temprana edad fue un jovent acti-

vo en los distintos grupos de la comunidad: Pastoral Ju-

venil, coro de la Iglesia, laicos comprometidos, la Junta

de vecinos, el comité del agua, etc. Reducido a la inmovi-

lidad de una silla de ruedas a causa de un grave acciden-

te, nada pudo retenir su espíritu libre y colaborador.

Participante del grupo de Laicos Misioneros de Bacumí,

fundado en tiempos del P. Andrés Amengual. El

23/05/2018 pudo complir su gran anhelo de consagrarse

como Presidente de Asamblea en la parroquia de los

Sagrados Corazones de Fantino.

Incluimos algunos testimonios:

De su esposa Roberta: “Me dejas un vacío inmenso en

mi vida. Te pido que desde donde estés, cuando me si-

enta sola, hazme sonar contigu. Cuando me sienta triste,

consuélame. Recuérdame que, aunque ya no te pueda

abrazar, aún estàs conmigo y aún vives en mi corazón”.

A ti hermano: “Fuíste mi hermano con majúscula si-

endo el mayor ejemplo d perseverancia. Juntos compar-

timos penes y alegries, llantos y sonridas. Siempre moti-

vándonos a vivi y proclamar la fe en Dios. Sé que desde

el cielo nos cuidarás, però aquí en la tierra te extrañare-

mos”.

A ti amigo: “Tu existència hizo felices a todos los que te

conocieron y, entre ellos, a mí. Gracias por los Buenos

momentos. Gracias por hacernos ver que cuando se qui-

ere, se puede. Gracias por ser modelo de fe en Cristo

Jesús y por las veces que nos hiciste ver la vida con la

alegria con la que vivías. Que Dios te conceda estar a su

derecha para que intercedas por nosotros”.

De su párroco P. Julio César Taveras: “Lo conocí al lle-

gar a la parroquia de los Sagrados Corazones en el año

2015, siempre lo admiré por su valentía y su coraje, con

una discapacidad era una persona que trasmitía ánimo

y esperanza a los que le escuchaban, en esas circunstan-

cias era el líder religioso de la Comunidad de Bacumí.

También admiré a su esposa Roberta Goris, por la de-

dicación y cuidado para con su esposo, que le hizo vivir

la alegría de domestica por sobre todas las cosas y que

luego, cuando ya se complicó su salud, ella puso en pri-

mer lugar la atención de su esposo y se dedico cien por

ciento.

Muchas personas en Bacumí y en la parroquia lo consi-

deraban como un hombre de Dios, o si se quiere como

un santo”.

Resonancias

Que el Corazón de Jesús y de María, les bendi-

ga y permita seguir adelante con esa gran Mi-

sión. Nuestras oraciones.

LA HERMANA GUILLA

HA TENIDO SU PASCUA

Las Hermanas Misioneras de los Sagrados Corazones de

República Dominicana nos informan del traspaso de la

hermana Guillermina Sencion.

Nacida en Piña Vieja, del grupo de las primeras vocacio-

nes de Fantino: "Con sentimientos encontrados", por un

lado TRISTEZA y por otro PAZ, que nuestra Hna. Guilla ha

tenido su Pascua Con toda seguridad sabemos que ella

continuará en COMUNIÓN con nosotras y MISIONANDO

desde este Encuentro con el AMOR PLENO que es DIOS!!!"

Fue una gran misionera, colaboradora durante muchos

años en Guayubín, Villa Vásquez, Restauración y otros lu-

gares. Un sobrino suyo fue novicio en nuestra Congrega-

ción- Últimamente residía en el Colegio Sor Petra Grullón,

en Las Colinas, Santiago. Pasó a la casa del Padre en la

tarde del 24-01-2020.

Que descanse en paz.
