Missionary

to Camp

Good News

I was raised in a Christian home and understand the value

of serving my Lord and Savior. I have been ministering

with LFBC in many areas, puppet ministry, VBS, nursery,

Good News Club ministry in the public school and

currently I am a WOL leader. I graduated from LFCA in

2009, attended 1 semester of WOLBI and recently

finished my EMT course and am currently in Nursing

School. I have been attending Camp Good News for

11 years and have ministered with them for 6 summers. I

have attended Christian Youth In Action for 6 years. The

past 2 summers, I took a step of faith and decided to

serve as a Missionary to Camp Good News for the camp

season.

Summer Missions with

Child Evangelism Fellowship

I was blessed to grow up in Christian home where God was always exalted. When I was very young I

asked Jesus to be my Savior. Where I was surrounded by Christianity it was very easy for it to become more like a tradition then an actual relationship with God. As

I got older, however, God brought along challenges that made me draw closer to Him. I rededicated my life

to the Lord on June 7, 2007. Since that day I have known that God is calling me to go into fulltime

missions with children. In order to be more prepared, I have spent my summers working as a Summer

Missionary for CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) of Southern Maine. These summers have been wonderful

opportunities to grow in Christ, and to gain more experience in the mission field. I am very thankful for the things that God has done for me throughout the past several years, and I look forward to the next with

great expectation.

Arrowhead Ministry The Maranatha Messenger puppet ministry was invited by Kevin Strout from Arrowhead Native Bible Ctr. in New Brunswick, Canada in the summer of 2008 to come to their children’s camp for a week to share the message of God’s love and His redemption plan to the children. Other church members came also to help out at the camp. There were many decisions that summer as children accepted Christ as their Savior. Little did we know the love that would take over our hearts for those children. We returned in 2009 and then again this past summer 2010 to help nurture these new babes in Christ as well as to reach others who haven’t made a decision yet. Our goal is to help raise up godly native leaders to reach future generations for Christ.

International Missionaries to WOL Dominican Republic

Rodrigo Juliani: When I was twenty years old, I heard the Message of Salva-tion for the first time ever at a Word of Life Sports Marathon. Three weeks later I received Jesus Christ as my Personal Sav-ior. A few months later, in a Missionary Conference, I dedicated my life to the Lord being willing to go to the Missionary field. Krystal Juliani: I praise God for

allowing me to be born to Christian parents. They brought me up in church and at the age of 4 I understood that I needed Jesus to clean my heart that was dirty with sin. At the age of 12 I dedicated my life to the Lord while at a Word of Life Snow Camp. At the age of 15 I felt the Lord challenging me to possibly go onto the foreign mission field.

In the Dominican our ministry will be to help local churches reach the

youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will be doing this through

summer camps, youth groups, sports marathons, local churches ministries,

dramas, Bible teaching in public schools, medical campaigns, and

discipleship programs. We will also be translating for the many short term

missions trips that we will receive from the U.S.

Our vision is to reach the Dominican people for Christ, help them to grow

spiritually and use all their potential to serve the Lord. Likewise, to

challenge the American groups to be committed Christians, willing to

serve the Lord in their local church or on the foreign mission field.

Operation Mobilization Debbie was born in Bath, Maine. She is the third child of William

and Lillian. Much of her schooling took place in New Hampshire

before she headed south to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree at Bob

Jones University. After returning to the University of Maine for a

Master of Library Science degree, she worked in school and public

libraries for about ten years before realizing God was calling her into

full time service. Debbie's first step was to join Christian Literature

Crusade in the USA, editing their mission magazine for 3 years.

Through CLC she learned about Operation Mobilization (OM) and

later became a press officer on the ship MV Doulos in Africa and

India. Soon after transferring to OM's other ship, Logos, in South

America, she and her fellow crew members were shipwrecked near

Cape Horn. Since the '90's Debbie has been based in London with

OM''s communication team, continuing to travel as a writer and

journalist and reporting on OM ships and ministries in over 100

countries. Besides encouraging others to pray and serve through

her mission articles she has published six books, most recently TRUE

GRIT: Women Taking on the World for God's Sake.

Child Evangelism Fellowship I was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ as my Savior as

a child. We attended church faithfully, giving me the opportunity to

grow spiritually as I learned more. I was able to take part in various

ministries in the church and enjoyed going to the Christian school

there as well, where I graduated in 2002. I went to Camp Good

News® as a child and also to Christian Youth In Action® training

school as a teenager. When I was home on break from college

(I attended Boston Baptist College), John Romano visited me and

said that whenever I was done school I could have a place to work

with Child Evangelism Fellowship® in Western Maine. I graduated

college in 2004 and started work here immediately. This has been a

dream of mine! I praise the Lord for bringing me to this point in

my life. I couldn’t have asked for better - the work of teaching

children the Gospel is the ultimate ministry in my mind. The staff

here is the best: the committee, teachers, volunteers, state office and

Camp staff, prayer partners, they all work together beautifully to

help each other reach the children. I feel so privileged to be the

C.E.F. Western Maine Director and I am looking forward to all the

things He has planned in the future!
