MISSION STATEMENT

It has become impossible to ignore the call for more social and environmental justice. We believes that all stakeholders have the power and the duty to answer the call and become impact catalysts.

This is why we work everyday with profits, non-profits and individuals to design, implement and communicate their commitments. A process that can only start with the core belief of ethics as a basic.

Ethics as a basic is the need for humanity to consider both social and environmental impacts to envisage any liveable future.

In the past, CSR strategies have been often confused with compliance and were disconnected from business, innovation and from the FOR GOOD business represented by philanthropic actions.

Impact approach relates better to company purpose and the measurable approaches of environmental and social externalities. It induces a commitment to produce, source, manage and distribute with sustainable and ethical commitments and to do that for a sustainable and meaningful purpose bigger than just revenues and growth.

IN means working the CSR and the management of direct and indirect externalities. FOR stands for connecting the CSR actions with your mission and go into your social contribution in depth. Through GOOD, we echo the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations.

Ethiwork was created as an impact studio. A space dedicated for reflections, gatherings and crafts.

In 2020, more and more are convinced the social and environmental transition will impact all activities and all professions in the years to come, as digital did previously.

Former General Manager of TBWA Corporate and Global CSR Director of CARTIER, Céline has more than 20 years of experience in management, communication, business development and corporate social responsibility.

She created Ethiwork in 2018 to foster the positive transformation of our economy and to act as a change agent of the environmental and social transition and impact approach.

Céline is the author of an impact documentary series “Luxury for good” on sustainable transformation and creativity in the luxury sector. Celine also teaches sustainability to Essec MBA Luxe students.

Former SILAMIR and FABERNOVEL consultant, graduate from CELSA Paris-Sorbonne and NUS Singapore, Maxence made it his goal to help companies understand and anticipate the business disruption due to climate change and start acting through impact strategies.

Maxence also teaches at Celsa Paris-Sorbonne on innovation strategies.

IMPACT EDUCATIONTechnology, as a major transformational tool, can have both positive and negative impact on organizations and on the world at large. At Ethiwork, we believe in supporting our clients create successful business models while mitigating possible negative effects of tech and setting the basis for positive impact.

Education is key for change, not only for young generations, but for every professional who wants to learn more and transform to its environment. Which is why we strongly believe in impact education and commit ourselves by giving classes (Essec MBA, Celsa) and trainings in companies.

Fashion and luxury companies are under strong scrutiny and expected to be sustainable, engaged and ethical. However the culture of secrecy, their traditions of quality and the complexity of the sourcing of their raw material makes it challenging. Our in-depth knowledge of hard luxury, based on significant work experience in the field, allows us to understand and support the full scope of the necessary transformation and to guide our clients.We also run a podcast on “Luxury for good.”

What should you do when the workforce stops applying for jobs in companies that have no sustainability ambition? What if they refuse to board a plane because it will impact their ecological footprint? How will you respond when they request to work from home during a heatwave?At Ethiwork, we work on these topics with various think tanks and are able to offer customized and clever answers to organizational and engagement problems both present and coming.

BUILDING AN IMPACT TRACK FOR FRANCE DIGITALE STARTUPS

THE IMPACT ACHIEVED AND MEASURED?All members of the France digitale HUB now have access to content and solutions to understand the sustainability challenge and measure their impact.Also, Ethiwork work on the FD Day, one of the top tech events in Europe with 4000 entrepreneurs and 20+ Unicorn founders. This year, we were missioned to help set an impact scene for the event.

WHAT WAS AT STAKE?France Digitale, France’s top HUB for entrepreneurs asked Ethiwork to help members to become impact positive startups and help France Digitale to be recognised as one of the top impact players in France.

WHAT WAS AT STAKE?A subsidiary of an international energy leader wants to become a sustainability leader in its category and show real commitment towards the engagement taken.

LAUNCHING A CSR PROGRAM FOR A JEWELLERY BRAND

THE IMPACT ACHIEVED AND MEASURED?An acculturation of all managers of the brand on the sustainability issues, and especially on the supply chain of materials and the new technologies in the diamond industry. The program allowed the brand to got closer on sustainability issues with its parent company.

WHAT WE DELIVERED?A benchmark on sustainability positioning in the luxury industry and a detailed CSR activation platform deep dive in specific topics for the brand (gold, diamonds, retail). Along this platform, we set a meeting plan for the managers with foundations and thought-leaders to initiate possible collaboration.

WHAT WAS AT STAKE?Ethiwork was commissioned by Repossi to create a dynamic inside the company on sustainable development in the luxury industry, and particularly, in jewellery.

WHAT WAS AT STAKE?Following Covid 19 and the consequences of confinement, the French Founders decided to dedicate a conference to explore the conditions for economic recovery and organize it in 10 days with speakers of international caliber.

THE IMPACT ACHIEVED AND MEASURED?Giving knowledge and boosting student’s critical thinking on tech and innovation. Bringing awareness on the new jobs students could land after graduating thanks to their skills in communication and social sciences.

WHAT WE DELIVERED?A 10 hour-class with lessons and a workshop. For the final exam, we organized a fictional competition of startups developing solutions for a major client.We also delivered toolkit and frameworks useful for students during their internship.

WHAT WAS AT STAKE?Exploring innovation methodologies and tools, benchmarking digital strategies of both traditional businesses and startups, and delivering takeaways on what does the innovation in the business means for the students.

THE IMPACT ACHIEVED AND MEASURED?Pride inside the company, enhanced visibility of the brand in the media and the press, an increase in subscriptions and a fund to give back for the artists.

WHAT WE DELIVERED?Support in the design of the offer and in its promotion strategy. Qobuz has committed to donating its first month earnings to artists. In three weeks, we created the product with the teams, briefed the advertising agencies, developed the campaign and the media plan and deployed the offer in the US, France, UK and Germany.

WHAT WAS AT STAKE?Qobuz has always considered that music should be paid to compensate artists and that its distribution should be as close as possible to the artist's original intention. This is why this streaming platform favors high definition sound and an approach to music as a cultural asset. During the Covid, Qobuz wanted to strengthen its values and get involved for the artists.

WHAT WE DELIVERED?Céline as a member of the ZEI Board advises managers on the optimization of the platform, the integration of the SDG criteria and its viability as a tool for steering an internal and external CSR strategy.

WHAT WAS AT STAKE?ZEI is a platform that was initially developed to help companies progress on their environmental impact challenges by educating them on measurement referentials and solutions that allow them to progress. During our collaboration with France Digitale, the need for an impact referential that covers ESG criteria very quickly appeared
