Summer 2015

“Yes they can!” “Yes they can!” “Yes they can!” “Yes they can!”

This is the answer to the question:

“Can people with technical skills be used in

missions?”

They not only can be used, they are very essential ! In

these days with exponential development in technology,

we need to take advantage of the tools which will help

us reach those still waiting to hear the gospel.

Airplanes and helicopters can transport people quickly

to remote areas of service that are off the grid for com-

mercial transportation. The new unmanned aerial vehi-

cles can be used to deliver medicines and needed sup-

plies effectively, quickly and inexpensively to village or

jungle locations. Communication tools are vital for safety

and for well-organized programs. Internet programs can

reach into inaccessible areas. Computer skills are used

for Bible translation and daily tasks.

Each year we choose a theme for our Fair. And so for our

2015 Fair, we have chosen to use our Mission Aviation

Promotions tagline:

“Promoting the spread of the Gospel“Promoting the spread of the Gospel“Promoting the spread of the Gospel“Promoting the spread of the Gospel

through Aviation and Technology”through Aviation and Technology”through Aviation and Technology”through Aviation and Technology”

This is what we aim to do as an organization, and specifi-

cally at our Mission Aviation Fair. Come out to the 2015

Fair and learn about how technical tools are used in mis-

sion efforts today. Interact with over 20 exhibitors. Hear

some special speakers. Let the children get a positive,

fun exposure to Christian faith and missions. Experience

a ride in a missionary plane or helicopter. Enjoy fellow-

ship and good food. Plan to come join us and bring some

friends. God could do something special through you!

How far would you go . . . to defend your belief in God? The film GOD’S NOT DEAD weaves together multiple stories of faith, doubt and disbelief, culminating in a dramatic call to action. The film will educate, entertain, and inspire people to explore what they really believe about God, igniting important conver-sations and life-changing decisions.

Organizations from far and near are com-ing to set up displays. Please visit them in Hangar G and in the Exhibit Tent to learn about their ministries.

Technology is changing exponentially these days, with new products

Friday Film Night in Hangar F ……………….…..

Using Exciting New Technology—UAVs ……....…..

Don’t miss the Flight Demonstrations. You’ll see how certain aircraft are espe-cially useful for service in remote areas.

One of the most exciting new technologies can have a myriad of applications in mis-sion logistics. The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) can be used to drop medicines and crucial supplies in remote areas with much less cost than a supply flight. See a demon-stration showing how I-TEC has been devel-oping UAVs for use in their ministry.

Children’s Activities ……………………………...

Lots of fun and educational activities for the young and young at heart at the Kid-Zone tent! Activities from 9:00-5:00 on Saturday and 1:00-5:00 on Sunday include a journey to several countries with a craft, game and food samples. Jesse Rothacker from “Forgotten Friends” will be sharing his rep-tiles on Saturday from 3:00-4:00 PM! Children will be able to see snakes, alligators, turtles, toads and more! And don’t forget the candy drop at 2:00 PM on Saturday as well as these other fun activities… bounce house with a slide, “little air-plane train,” alpacas, face painting, balloon twisting and caricature artist. And, finally, back by popular demand is world-class juggler, Chris Ivey. Children won’t want to miss his presentation at 3:30 pm on Sunday!

We hope that children will have a fun experience while also learn-ing how they might serve the Lord now and in the future.
