Mission: To understand and improve the transfer student experience at UW-Madison.
Vision: To ensure that all transfer students have the ability to fulfill the following four goals:
• To anticipate and be prepared for the significant change that switching universities represents.
• Gain an awareness of UW-Madison’s culture and knowledge of the tools and resources available to them, and comfort in using those items to create personal and academic success.
• To feel a sense of belonging and lifelong connectedness to UW-Madison.
• To feel successful in creating a unique and meaningful Wisconsin Experience for themselves.

• September 25th: Team Building, Rules and Expectations, Adventure Learning Program (ALPs)
• October 2nd: True Colors, Recognizing leadership strengths and weaknesses, goal setting
• October 9th: Issue Advocacy, Exploration of Transfer Student Identity
• October 9th-13th: Transfer Student Appreciation Week
• October 16th: LIFT Project Proposals due, Photo campaign for Transfer Student identity
• October 23rd: LIFT Project group assignments, Wellness workshop
• October 30th: Multicultural Student Center Workshop
• November 6th: LIFT Project, Campus & Community Partners
• November 13th: LIFT Project finalizations, Campus & Community Partners
• November 20th: LIFT Project Showcase, leadership completion ceremony
• November 27th: No CETE, Happy Thanksgiving!
• December 4th: Resume & Cover Letter Workshop-UW Writing Center
