Two-way process of reaching mutual  understanding, in which participants not only exchange information but also create and share meaning

"To effectively communicate, we must realize that we are all different in the way we perceive the world and use this understanding as a guide to our communication with others."                                 ~Anthony Robbins ~

MISUNDERSTANDING

It is when one group member gains an interpretation that he believes is accurate, but in reality is not the interpretation.

MISINTERPRETATION

It is when the interpretation of a group member’s statement suggests that his values and beliefs are different from the other group members values and beliefs.

LYING & EVASION

It is deceptive communication. This acts as a way for the speaker to hide their actual beliefs or actions. Thus the speaker gains some power over the listeners because he has obscured the true beliefs or actions.

Gap between actual operating profit and the one in the books of accounts continued to grow

The company had to carry additional resources and assets to justify higher level of operations- thereby significantly increasing the costs

Every attempt made to eliminate the gap failed

On December 16th,Mr Raju tried to buy two firms owned by his family, Maytas Properties and Maytas Infra, for $1.6 billion.

Shareholders revolted

They thought it was an attempt to siphon cash out of Satyam

It Mr Raju’s last desperate attempt to plug the hole in Satyam’s balance sheet with Maytas’s assets

The government decided to appoint 10 nominee-directors.

Companies  and  government  are  closely  watching  Satyam strategies.  They  feel  that  satyam  should  stand  of  its  own  first,  if not    only  then  other  company’s  would  approach  for  a takeover/acquisition of satyam.

Other  IT  companies  like  HCL  also  considering  a  possibility  of   takeover

But at last the TECH MAHINDRA took over satyam in June 2009  giving birth to  “MAHINDRA SATYAM”.
