A quasi judicial body established in 1972 under theConstitution of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

A constitutional body established primarily to recruit personsfor various services and posts in the government.

It works under the provisions of the Article 137 - 141 of theConstitution of Bangladesh and certain other rules and

regulations made by the government from time to time.

Functions of BPSC

To conduct competitive examinations and/or interviews for direct

recruitment of persons in the government service.

To conduct psychological and intelligence tests for candidates who

qualify in the competitive examinations seeking selection to the various

civil service cadres.

To conduct tests and/or interviews for promotion of government

servants from one service to another (from class II to class I);

To select candidates from among the serving temporary government

servants for appointment to permanent posts;

To endorse ad hoc appointments made under various

ministries/divisions;

In this category the PSC will providecircular for BCS exam and hear all therules and regulation will be published.

2nd step In this step we will create a

candidates database system here all thecandidate information will be recorded.

There will be opportunity of uploading the

scanned copy of all the academic Certificates .

Candidate will also be able to upload the

scanned copy of draft order which they paid as

per the provision of BPSC.

After completing all the requirements the

candidate will press the SUBMIT button

indicated at the last.Submit

4th step After the above steps the PSC will take theinformation from the candidates database to make the

seat plan for the preliminary exam and after that thedate of the exam will be fixed

5th step After the above step the result of the

preliminary exam will be published to the site. And inthe same time the date and seat plan for the writtenexam will be published for the candidates who arequalified for the written exam. exam date and the seatplan of the written exam and viva voce will be

published.
