Miriam Schulman embraces her creative life with wholeheartedness in Scarsdale, New York. Schulman studied art history at Dartmouth College and abandoned a hedge fund career to work on her art full time.
She creates watercolor and mixed media art to share her stories and empower other women with the skills they need to create art and bring more joy to their lives.
Miriam Schulman has been a professional artist since 2004 when demand for her watercolor portraits of children took off.
Her watercolor and mixed media paintings have been seen on NBC, published in art magazines and home decor books. She has been published in art magazines such as Art of Man and most recently in Art Journaling Magazine by Somerset Studio.

Miriam Schulman teaches online art classes on a site she founded called The Inspiration Place which has attracted thousands of students from around the world. Students enroll in their choice of a variety of classes that teach watercolor and mixed media techniques in Schulman's signature style. You can login to watch classes at your own convenience from the privacy of your own home. Students love the luxury of being able to replay videos as many times as they need to master a technique and then interact with other students going through the same journey and sharing their passion for the creative process in the online forums.
