-The pastors have organized an official Filipino caucus group-They expressed their appreciation to the staff of CI. They recognized that the planning of CIhas never been this elaborate and organized.-They appointed Pastor Reuel Talapian to become the staff youth worker and coordinatorbetween the youth and the pastors.-They have concerns on the theme and the military concept of CI as warfare is not included inthe Wesleyan teachings that serve as the foundations of the United Methodist Church.

II. CI Theme and Objectivesa.) Theme

Former: Call of Duty: Spiritual Warfare Revised: Call of Duty

*Jared clarified that the only concern is the sub-theme Spiritual Warfare. Thus, the staff has achoice between omitting the phrase and substituting it with another phrase.*Pastor Reuel shared ideas for possible alternative sub-theme:

    - G2G (Generation to Generation)

    - Onward, Christian Soldier** The staff voted : the sub-theme Spiritual Warfare be omitted instead of changing thewhole theme.

b.) Theme VerseFormer: Ephesians 6:11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand

against the devils schemes. Current: 2 Timothy 2:3 Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

*Pastor Reuel suggested the revision of the theme verse to something more relevant andsupportive to the theme.** The staff voted: have 2 Timothy 2:3 as the umbrella theme verse, and Ephesians 6:10-18(The Armor of God) as the basis of the CI program.

c.) ObjectivesTogether in one voice, the youth through this event seeks to:

of the church** The staff voted : revise the first and second objectives to:
