Minutes of the Medina Lake Bass Club

Regular Monthly Meeting

Date: May 3, 2018

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: Bobby J’s hamburgers, Helotes TX

Don Holding called the meeting to order.

John Trevino called roll. (17 members present). David Cope, Chuck Kersch, Jim

Clauser, James Garnand, Henry Vera, Jason Stein, Karl Rogers, Everlyn Theinpont,

Jimmy Kessler, Steve Strunk, Scott Zook, Don Holding, John Bonewald, Dale

Rogers, Don Rogers and Joe Tompkins were present.

John Trevino read the minutes from the April 2018 club meeting. Don Rogers

motioned and on David Cope seconded to approve the minutes as read. The minutes

were approved (16-0).

John Trevino read the April Treasurer’s report and announced that the club

balance was $1048.00 Don Rogers motioned and David Cope seconded to approve

the Treasurer’s report as read. The Treasurer’s report was approved (16-0).

Old Business: A motion was made to amend the bylaws That all live and healthy

fish that are caught/culled during the tournament must immediately be

returned/released back into the lake from which they were caught from after

weight in.

New Business: A motion was made to change the Tournament rules that in the July

and August Tournaments, that no more than 3 fish may be brought to weigh in.

Anybody that violates this rule will be penalized by losing their biggest fish Caught

or Culled. The Motion passed 9-2-1 with 4 no votes.

Another motion was made to allow the officers to leave a tip for the Del Rio Inn

workers helping to feed us. Tip amount would be decided by the Club Officers. The

motion passed unanimously 16-0

Tournament Director Report:

Jim Clauser announced the results to the April Tournament @ Medina Lake.

Winning Lures and Techniques were also discussed.

Tournament Committee Report: New tournament dates were set by the

committee and have been posted to our website.

Adjournment: A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Steve Strunk and

Seconded by Jimmy Kessler.
