HOLISTIC REVIEW OF APPLICATIONSAdmission decisions are based on a very careful, overall assessment of each student's academic preparation and performance, as well as the additional information provided in the application, based on the primary and secondary factors listed at z.umn.edu/intladminfresh. No single factor is the deciding factor in the decision. The University of Minnesota does not have automatic criteria or minimums (cut-offs) for admission.
AP, IB, AND A-LEVEL CREDITSStudents in IB programs may receive eight semester credits for most higher-level subjects passed with a grade of five or higher. AP scores of three or higher may earn credits. Some A-Level or AS-Level courses may also receive credits. For more, see z.umn.edu/transfercreditev.
