    GUIDELINES FOR THE PREPARATION OF B.TECH PROJECT REPORT1. Project report should be neatly typed only on one side of the paper with 1.5-line spacing on

    A4 size bond paper. The margins should be aligned as eft ! 1."5#$ %ight ! 1#$ Top and

    &ottom ! 1#. The font type Times New Roman may be selected.

    ". &efore ta'ing the final printout$ the appro(al of the concerned guide)s* is mandatory and

    suggested corrections$ if any$ must be incorporated.

    1. The number of reports to be prepared are as per the following+

    specifies the scope of wor' and its importance and relation to pre(ious wor's and the

    present de(elopments. $ain %o!&of the report is to be di(ided appropriately into

    The chapters$ sections and subsections may be numbered in the decimal form. 9or

    e/ample+ in hapter "$ sections as ".1$ "." etc.$ and subsections as ".".1$ "."."$ etc.

    The CHAPTERmust be in capital letters$ centered )font size 14$ bold*$ followed

    by the TITLE OF CHAPTERcapital letters$ centered )font size 1:$ bold*.

    The project report should be brief and include description of wor' carried out by

    others only to the minimum e/tent necessary. Eerbatim reproduction of materials

    a(ailable elsewhere should be strictly a(oided. Ghere short e/cerpts from published

    wor' are desired to be included$ they should be within >uotation mar's appropriately

    referenced.

    Proper attention should be paid not only to the technical contents but also to the

    organisation of the report and clarity of the e/pression. 2ue care should be ta'en to

    a(oid spelling )nglish ! 0ndia* and typing errors. The student should note that reportwrite up forms the important component in the o(erall e(aluation of the project wor'.

    with the module name etc. must be included on a separate sheet. 0t must be properly

    ac'nowledged in the ac'nowledgments.
