      ABSTRACT

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a Frequency Division

Multiplexing (FDM) technique used as a digital multi-carrier modulation method. A large

number o closely spaced sub carriers !hich are orthogonal are used to carry data on

several parallel data streams. A large number o closely spaced sub carriers !hich are

orthogonal are used to carry data on several parallel data streams. OFDM uses the

spectrum eiciently compared to Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) by

spacing the channels much closer and creating all the carriers orthogonal to one another.

Orthogonality o the carriers prevents intererence bet!een the closely spaced carriers

and provides high band!idth eiciency. "his paper presents a real time transmitter using

an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing signaling scheme. "he transmitter is

    implemented on a Field #rogrammable $ate Array (F#$A) through %ilinx &ystem

$enerator or D and includes all the bloc's needed or the transmission path o

OFDM. "he transmitter rame can be reconigured or dierent pilot and data schemes.

orresponding bloc's o OFDM transmitter and receiver includes uadrature Amplitude

implementation o the signal path can be implemented by using only %ilinx &ystem
