This document will provide a general overview of the features and functionality of the Midway

online ordering system.

1. User Registration & Login

1. User Registration

To create an account, use the Register but-

ton in the upper right hand of the screen.

After clicking the Register button, the user

will be navigated to the registration page.

Fill out the required fields in the registration

page to submit the request to be approved

by a Midway administrator.

2. Login

Users with an existing Midway account may

use the Login button to proceed to the login

page. Enter the credentials in the corre-

sponding form to gain access to the site.

Users who have lost their login may use the

Forgot your Password? link found at the

bottom of the form.

2. Select Brand & Buy/Gets

1. Midway Select Brand

Halfway down the home page, there is a

section entitled Midway Select Brand. This

section will feature our higher quality house

brand that is a new addition to our product line.

2. Buy/Gets

Some items may have a Buy/Get offer at-

tached to them. A notification will appear both

on the item detail page and at the bottom of

the cart.

Following this notification will open the op-

tions for adding promotional items to the cart.

These items will be added to the cart at no

additional cost to the user.

Users having added an excess amount of free

items will be presented with an error message

at the top of the screen. To resolve, simply

delete or change the quantity on the added

item or items.

3. Browse Products & Catalog

1. Supply Categories

To find products and supplies, click Supplies

in the main navigation. On the supplies page,

items are separated into categories. Clicking

a category may either lead to a product list or

to another list of sub categories.

2. Items

Categorized items are presented in list form.

Users may add a single item or multiple items

by changing the quantity on the right hand

side to the cart. Users may also add an item

to a custom list. The View All link navigates to

the item details page.

3. Online Catalog

A link to the Midway Online Catalog can be

found at the bottom of the home page. The

catalog features this year's products, dis-

counts, and special offers.

4. My Lists

1. Creating a List

Navigate to the My Lists section using the

My Lists button of the web page. To create

a new list click the Create a New List button

on the right side of the page. Type in the de-

sired name for the list and click Create List.

2. Using Item Lists

Lists are intended to quickly and easily group

commonly ordered items. To open a list, click

the name of list. From the list view, users may

add one or more items to their cart.

Throughout the store, users may also add

items directly to their list using the Save to a

List button. This is an effective way to gradu-

ally create a list while browsing products.

As an added convenience, users may add one

or more items to a list from the cart view.

5. Orders & Quick Order Form

1. Order History

Users may navigate to the Orders page by

clicking the Orders button in the upper right

side of the page. This page features current

open orders followed by a list of all past or-

ders. Past orders may be re-ordered using the

Re-Order button on the right side of the page.

2. Quick Order Form

Users may navigate to the Quick Order Form

by clicking the Quick Order Form button on

the top right of the page. This form allows us-

ers to quickly add items and quantities to their

cart or a list by typing the product name or item

number and the desired quantity.

There is also an option for uploading a CSV file

to automatically fill the corresponding fields.

Click the Choose File button on the right to

upload a file.

To download a Quick Order Form Template

click the Get Directions link above the

Choose File button and choose a desired

template. For further directions on how to fill

out the template, follow the steps provided in

the pop up.

6. Tables & Filters

1. Using Tables

Throughout the website, there are a variety of

table views, each featuring formating and dis-

play options at the upper right side. Alternating

between the options will change the size of the

images as well as how many products that can

be seen on a page.

Also located at the top of all tables are the Sort

By and Per Page drop downs, which control the

sort order and how many items are displayed.

2. Table Filters

Each table features a Filter button allowing

users to modify which data is displayed in the

table. When the filter drawer is opened, it has

selected basic filters that allow the user to see

desired items. If a desired filter is not shown,

users may click the + button on the right side of

the drawer to add a new custom filter.
