SCHOOL HEALTH PROGRAMME during 2012-13Training to all District Level officers have been

imparted. Training of 2(two) teachers from 770 schools each

are presently in progress.Tender process to procure IFA Tablets, Deworming

medicine and Vitamin –A for disbursement to school children is in the final stage.

2723 children from 50 schools have been covered under SHP.

After the completion of the training to school teachers. SHP would be successfully implemented.

MONITORING INSTITUTE, MANIPUR UNIVERSITY’S REPORT ON MDM SCHEME in Senapati and Tamenglong Districts

Regarding un-availability of foodgrains as pointed out by MI, all Districts are maintaining buffer stock for more than three months since the last two/three years.

Efforts are being made to ensure timely release of funds.

The issue on inadequate/replacement of utensils at school level will be addressed in the next FY 2013-14. 2000 KD units has already been proposed to GOI during video conference.
