This modules requires thecandidate to understand theconcept of spreadsheets and todemonstrate the ability to use aspreadsheet application on acomputer. The candidate shall

understand and be able toaccomplish tasks associated withdeveloping, formatting, modifyingand using a spreadsheet of limitedscope ready for distribution. He orshe shall also be able to generateand apply standard mathematicaland logical formulas using

standard formulas and functions.The candidate shall demonstratecompetence in creating andformatting graphs/charts.

This module requires the candidate touse the spreadsheet application toproduce what are deemed to beadvanced spreadsheet outputs. Thecandidate shall be able to operateeffectively at more than a basic level ofcompetence and be able to edit and

enhance numeric, text and graphicaldata and to sort, query and link data.The candidate shall be able to carryout advanced formatting andpresentation operations on charts andgraphs. The candidate shall be able touse functions such as thoseassociated with logical, statistical ormathematical operations. Thecandidate shall be able to useavailable analysis and audit tools andto run and record simple macros.
