CAREER HIGHLIGHTS During my 12 year career as GCAA Air Navigation Regulations Manager, I have continuously demonstrated a passion driven determination to attain the highest level of achievements to surpass the Authorities Mission to be a global leading State Aviation Authority and the Prime Objectives to provide a Safe, Secure and Sustainable Aviation System. I am honored to have had the opportunity to exercise my skills and knowledge, and express my creative, process driven character to have completed the following milestone achievements:

Initialised and established the 1st UAE Air Navigation, Safety Regulations Department; Created a structured ICAO compliant State ATC licensing system within a 12 month period; Led the in-house development of an integrated database program to maintain the ATC

regulatory management of licensing, incident investigation, auditing and safety assessment and operational equipment and procedure approval processes;

Managed the process for the implementation of the ANSP Certification Programs, resulting in the UAE being the first State in the Middle East and one of only a few States globally to Certify ANSPs;

Enhanced the State Search and Rescue System through the development of National SAR Regulations in a collaborative process with numerous State Authorities and organizations;

Identified deficiencies and led in the development of corrections to ATC Alerting and In Flight Emergency Services within the ATC Industry, through conduct of SAR road shows, resulting in improved ATC Officer understanding and enhancements to ATC procedures and training and assessment programmes;

Implemented a safety cultural program which improved the effectiveness of the incident reporting system through improved safety culture awareness and understanding, resulting in reported ATC incidents increasing by 320% over a 4 year period;

Established an annual safety oversight auditing program to ensure ATS unit compliance to ICAO regulations;

Successfully enhanced the UAE ATC Nationalisation Program demonstrating mature understanding of cultural differences and a mentoring style which assisted numerous Emirati staff in successfully attaining senior management positions;

Drove my team outputs resulting in achieving the highest ICAO Audit rating score of 98.86% during recent ICAO oversight Audits conducted in Oct 2014 .
