T E A M TA L KThe first quarter of 2017 has been quite intense for the Secretariat, as can be seen in this quarterly update. Westrive to ensure all MGA’s activities are aligned with and fulfil our Vision, Mission and Objectives.

The secretariat's focus for 2017 are as follows;• Ensuring that MGA becomes more visible as the voice of the gas industry and continues to advocate natural

gas.• Delivering the expected value propositions to the members.• Acting as enabler to the Working Committees (WCs), thereby ensuring that all activities are planned and

executed effectively.

The increase in the number of Working Committees (WCs) to 5 from last year’s 3 requires full time coordination inorder to support and ensure that the WCs are active and functioning to fulfil their respective objectives. SarahMusfirah has been appointed early this year as the Coordinator of the Working Committees and tasked to supportall of the WC Leaders.

The Secretariat is constantly scanning for potential collaboration with other organisations. In the first quarteritself, MGA has successfully collaborated with FMM, IEM, MOGEC and MOGSC. In the same quarter, MGA helddiscussions with UTM’s GESS, CAPE and Gerson Lehrman Group on potential collaboration.
