Well, we met Tom at the drive and he seemed friendly enough so, we went on up to the facility. We had one of the most wonderful experiences of our life. I can still re- member the cha cha’s. They would NOT let Gerrie go anywhere without a glass of water. The more she drank, the better she felt. You know, we were sitting at the table. But, who was more important? Those who were serving!! De Colores!

Who is more important, the one who sits at the table or the one who serves?

The one who sits at the table of course. But not here! For I am among you as

one who serves. Luke 22:27

Our God is an awesome God! As I remember Gerrie and my Cursillo experi-ence there are several things that come to mind. One of them was us trying to fig-ure out a way leave, before we even traveled up the driveway headed to our Cur-sillo. Gerrie had a bad kidney infection and that would be a fine excuse to not go. Well, we met Tom at the drive and he seemed friendly enough so, we went on up to the facility. We had one of the most wonderful experiences of our life. I can still re-member the cha cha’s. They would NOT let Gerrie go anywhere without a glass of water. The more she drank, the better she felt. You know, we were sitting at the table. But, who was more important? Those who were serving!! Not only the cha chas but the leaders, the rollistas, the entire Cursillo team were important in God’s eyes. They were there to serve and share God’s wonderful love with us at #46!!

Maybe as you read this you are remembering when you went through Cur-

sillo and who touched you in a special way. Maybe a cha cha who held a door or

maybe it was someone playing Diana Ross, or a Blues Brother. Maybe it was a Spiri-

tual leader or a Rollista? You know, God picks our staff and He puts them in JUST

the right place each Cursillo weekend that comes around! Some folks ask “why did I

get a talk?” You NEVER know who will be touched by what you say or do!

Thank YOU all for giving to the Lord. Our God truly reigns!! Please remem-

ber to pray for #180 and if you know someone who deserves this experience, please

invite them!!
