Post Lubricants Henkel offers a complete lubricant package, beginning with BONDERITE® post lubricants which are electrostatically-applied to aluminum can stock. Our formulations are designed for specific resistance requirements and coil storage conditions. Additionally, these products are designed to provide outstanding lubricity and excellent application transfer efficiency, therefore, improving can concentricity, and reducing tear-offs and scrap.

Our newest product, BONDERITE® L-FM 9800™ post lubricant, is a key part of Henkel’s integrated lubricant program and is developed around the successful BONDERITE® SNL-series of cupper-lubricants.BONDERITE® L-FM 9800™ Post Lubricant enhances cupper lubricant performance for greater latitude in cup/can forming, extended tool life and reduced bleed-through on finished cans.

Bodymaker Coolants Henkel offers a line of biostable bodymaker coolants with a wide range of polymer-levels for tramp control, all offering superior lubricity and corrosion protection. Additionally, these products can work under a wide range of operating temperatures with simplified control testing procedures.

Henkel’s latest bodymaker coolant, BONDERITE® L-FM 400-series, is formulated with an enhanced biostatic package. These coolants will reduce or eliminate the routine additions of biocides, proven to improve coolant control, enhance performance and improve worker conditions.

Cupper Lubricants Henkel’s semi-synthetic BONDERITE® cupper lubricants are designed for handling a wide range of cupping requirements and to provide outstanding can interior cleanliness, long tool life and increased productivity.

Henkel’s cupper lubricants are at the core of Henkel’s total lubrication package, including the newest product additions of BONDERITE® L-FM SNL-series cup lubricants. These products are designed for superior high film strength and lubricity performance.

Cleaners Henkel’s environmentally sustainable surfactant systems are available in acid or alkaline chemistries and are designed to meet regional environmental requirements. They are able to handle a wide range of oil-loading tolerance and produce minimal foam in rinse stages, all at a competitive applied cost.

Henkel’s newest product, BONDERITE® C-IC 700-series environmentally sustainable, acid cleaners, are designed with highly-efficient cleaning surfactants and unique brightener technology to produce extremely bright cans, using significantly less fluoride than traditional cleaners.

Mobility EnhancersHenkel’s BONDERITE® mobility enhancer technologies are uniquely formulated to provide excellent can mobility and water drainage. They offer environmental benefits by saving energy, with a shorter dry time at lower oven temperatures.

Henkel’s newest product, BONDERITE® M-PT 115™ mobility enhancer, is designed to improve the flow of formed cans through the high speed printers. It also accelerates the drainage of water from cans, which decreases the quantity of water carried into the oven. As a result, less energy is needed to dry the cans, and oven temperatures can usually be reduced. It is suitable for use on aluminum or steel cans, as well as, conversion-coated cans.

Conversion Coatings Henkel’s inorganic conversion coatings chemically bond to the surface to provide protection against corrosion and staining during pasteurization and retort, and also improve adhesion of can coatings.

Can End Sealants Henkel’s TEROSON® can end sealants are water-based compounds available for beverage, food, aerosol and other packaging applications. These low-density formulations enable lower application weights and provide ease of application.

Steel LubricantsHenkel qoffers synthetic cupper lubricants and bodymaker coolants for forming tin-plated steel food and beverage cans. These products are designed to disperse tin and steel fines, while minimizing build-up on tooling for superior can surface finish.

The BONDERITE® L-FM series provide superior lubricity and tooling protection, yielding low tear-off rates, excellent can stripping and improved tool usage.

CleanersHenkel’s washer products for tin-plate steel cans clean the surface of organic lubricant soils and emulsified tramp oil. They are available in silicate- and phosphate-free formulations.

Conversion CoatingsHenkel is a global leader in surface technologies. Our conversion coatings for tin-plate steel cans provide optimum corrosion protection, reduced metal exposure, improved coating adhesion and protection against flash rusting.

Lineguard® Smartcontrol™ System The Lineguard® is an advanced automatic process control and monitoring system designed specifically for use with Henkel’s most advanced cleaning and pretreatment process. This system can be customized to each customer’s line operations, while still providing the ability to seamlessly communicate with systems outside the plant manufacturing environment.

Lineguard® PC-6000™ System The Lineguard® PC-6000™ system is a PLC-based chemical feed and control system, which has data trending and SPC analysis capabilities. One unit can control all the washers of a can plant, and is available as either a central panel based system or as part of a distributed I/O system.

Lineguard® PC 3500™ Henkel offers custom design washer control systems for single or multiple washers. The control systems are customized, based on software and hardware requirements.

Lineguard® PC 760™ Our Lineguard® PC 760™ chemical control system is well-suited for single line control, with a dedicated PLC for each can washer. Networking multiple units within a can plant allows for ease in monitoring and control.

Metering PumpsAll of our chemical control systems come with Henkel’s own pumps. These industry-proven, reliable feed pumps are resistant to products used in can washers, and are available in a variety of sizes and support component options.
