Structures which are based in Oaxacan lands are consolidated through a graphic which does not want to be, unravelling contemporary metaphors of past lives and deaths to come.
Wood that’s been destroyed by someone’s hand displays in the paper, in the image, the residue of the damage done in the material, printing into the discourse a visual echo.
This series both announces and presents a result, a construction, an ending composed of slivered pieces of sounds, which reverberate into new conceivable stories invented by the mind of the other. Certainties, fears, and affections are built out of the creative and violent process of the artist. But it is you who gives meaning and movement to this collection of scenes, illuminating its narrative.The proposition, on this occasion, is to engage with the combined forms which only say what one wants to hear.
This is how Javier plays with devices from different realities, devices which invite you to begin recreat-ing language.
