Japanese Club Gomen nasai! Sorry! Japanese club will not be running again until after the Easter holidays, BUT there is still plenty of learning to be done as homework until then that can be accessed from here. Last week: You should have all completed your kore wa/sore wa/are wa…. desu sentences as homework from last week. I will be collecting and looking at all homework handed in to my pigeon hole once I come back. I will be rewarding all homework with house points, so make sure that your name is clearly on it so I know whose it is! This week: Please be practicing reading and writing your hiragana! (This week and every week!) Test yourself to learn at least 5 a day, if you can. They will be easier to learn and distinguish if you try writing and reading Japanese words with them. Please create a poster with at least 8 of the following Japanese words on written in hiragana (NOT Kanji) by looking at your hiragana charts, along with the English translation and a picture (Google is your friend here). If you have lost your chart, there are many on the internet, just google “hiragana chart”. You can pick randomly from the word list- in fact, that’s encouraged so that everyone doesn’t pick the same words and have identical posters! Doubutsu (Dōbutsu) Eiga Enpitsu Hana Hanabi Ichigo

Japanese Club

Gomen nasai!

This week:

Please be practicing reading and writing your hiragana!

Time

Read through the Powerpoint document on Moodle and create a piece of homework that demonstrates your knowledge and understanding of the vocabulary. E.g. a poster, leaflet, a spoken conversation between yourself and a partner.

Over the Easter holidays: Revise! Make sure that you look back over your hiragana, numbers and the other topics included on Moodle. There will be a mini test to see how much you’ve learnt this term when we get back.
