Course description
A hands-on set-up course using the artegral tooth line according to TiF® (Total prosthetics in Function) denture set-up technique in combination with the PremEco Line flasking technique - processing dentures in cold-cure pouring acrylic as well as applying the staining technique for denture characterisation.
What is TiF® (Total prosthetics in Function) ? - meaning full/ full functional denture set-up
The set-up of full dentures is not an easy tasks for a dental technician. Due to the edentulous situation the dental technician can only find a few points of orientation, which he can use for the set-up of the teeth. Based on the full/full prosthetics concept developed by professor Gerber, Merz Dental has developed a method, which determines and allows to check the former positions of teeth. The system also takes into account the statically suitable load areas of the denture bearing area by means of model analysis. This method is called the TiF® method (Total prosthetics in Function) and is well-established at German universities, schools and laboratories.

Cueneyt Sefer a qualified German dental technician since 1995, has many years of laboratory experiences. He has also worked for 8 years in the surgery environment, therefore having direct contact to the dentist and patient, during that time building up his know how for quality denture set up work. Cueneyt has taken part in
many lectures and courses over the years in various places in the world to further his experiences. Since 2001 he is a certified lecturer and demonstrator for Merz Dental GmbH, Luetjenburg lectures in Germany and in other countries. In 2003 he also became technical support for the products.
