Palisades Center Rink! We all

strapped on and to the

sound of Hershkowitz Music

we went skating and sliding

and skipping and even some

eating. A special mention to

Michal Cohen for helping us

return the skates! Thanks to

all our counselors for helping

out! As soon as we got back

to camp we ran to the gym

to dance some more to our

so crazily good and rocking

camp song! Fill balloons

we’re celebrating 20 years!!

MONDAY we are back for

another week at the best

place on earth! What will this

week bring?? Definitely fun

and definitely awesomeness!

The pinkness that arrived

really brought tears to my

eyes as I was so happy to see

the smiling faces!!! Love it! We

ran to lineup, with our thumbs

out! A doodadadayay! We

all ran to daven and hear a

beautiful shiur by Rabbi

Goldstein, and were off to

activities! Its Zumba for all!!

Esti our Zumba director

began with the happiest of

dances and soon we were all

dancing along! Each bunk

really enjoyed it! Ear

headbands were worn by all

of us and Tamar Gelbein cuz

we love to matchy match!

After playing games of jump

rope, machanayim and

limbo we were ready to eat

deli sandwiches and French

fries! After much dipping and

picking, we were off to our

trip of freezing cold ice

Merockdim, we are going places……

Flashback to summer

2008! Lineup was

exercisingful and shiur

was meaningful,

activities were joyful

and arts and crafts

were creatingful. Each

camper began to

create a beautiful glass

plate with figures of

their family! It’s going to

be amazing cuz

everything is amazing.

Lunch is here! Let’s go

eat! Meatballs and

spaghetti!! Lets all get

ready…we are not

stead…cuz we love to

eat something saucy!

There was some

healthy green beans

on the side “as well as”

tunafish! Yum! As soon

we were done, we

were up on our feet,

screaming to the sound

of hey hey hey we

were up on our feet

screaming and

dancing with Rachel

Fine on the front lines.

dynamite! Dinosaur!

We all shook the floor!!

Benching was

spectacular as Chani lost

her voice and Rifky knew

all the words! By that time

we were swimming in the

heated pool as we all got

very wet and very cool.

Back at camp, we all went

to the gym for merockdim

fever! Merockdimair is here

and we are ready to travel

around the world!! First off

to Russia to race as we try

on our winter clothes. Then

off to Israel and not Iseal

thanks ZC, as everyone

wrote letters to Chani, Rifky

and ZC! What letters did

we get! We love you

Merockdim! Then we

traveled to New York

where we bobbed for

apples in the BIG APPLE,

then Hindy and Esti

helped us make candy

sushi in Japan, with some

fluffer nutter without nuts.

Last but not least we

arrived in Italy where we

had a pasta/spaghetti

race! We all rotated and

danced along to the

music! As always good

times were had by all!

With some yummy freeze

pops to end our day, we

hope it will never end!

THURSDAY: after a

morning full of trucks and

buses, we are ready for

the RIDE OF OUR LIVES! All

dressed in our

amusement park gear,

we walked through the

ride and onto

Merockdim’s crazy rides!

Its summer 2014! Let’s

take a walk down

memory lane as we all

sang our camp song from

that year! Michal Ratner,

Sara Guy, & Esther

Kramer linked hands and

sang lets go fly a kite

really high and loud! Its

food decorating time!

Shani Kirshner had us all

creating cookie grills, with

shish kabobs and franks!

So cute! So cayute! Rabbi

Goldstein spoke about

people. So after a crisp

davening we were off to

lunch at the boys camp!

It was a yummy Fish sticks

and rice lunch! Some

rice for me and fish sticks

for you, or maybe tuna

or none for Rifky only a

hobo sandwich. After a

#TBT where we sang the

camp song from summer

2014, can’t believe how

everyone even

remembered the

motions, we went right

into our awesome and

amazing camp song and

we brought down the

house! An announcement

whoo! An announcement

whoo! Its time for guess

what?? Leagues!! Teams

were announced as we

had, Kix, Captain Crunch,

Grillers, Roasted

Marshmallows, Yeezy’s,

Pumas and so many more!

Can’t wait to see who will

make it through to the

final championships! Its

time for Merockdim fever!

We all got balloons blown

up and taped to our

backs, we stood around

the whole gym. Then in the

center was a HUGE

popcorn box filled with

popcorn!! We all got cups,

then when we

heard…things like

whoever is wearing

something sparkly we ran

up to fill our cups before

the whistle blows and our

balloons get popped!

From running to eating to

eating some more, we

tried to fill up our bunks

bags until bunk 5 made

it! Yay! Out of breath girls

and full counselors

ended our great ride

through the very best

amusement park known

as MEROCKDIM!!
