Bereavement Committee Our Lady of Mercy is blessed to have beautiful ministries to assist families with one of the most difficult things they will ever do - burying a loved one. Our Bereavement Committee helps grieving families when they are hosting a gathering following the services. Assistance with refreshments and hosting is available from our dedicated volunteers.
We are in need of volunteers who can help with these activities! Whether you’ve been touched by the kindness of this committee or just feel called to serve, we would love to have you join us. Parish School of Religion & Rite of Christian Initiation for ChildrenThe Parish School of Religion (PSR) seeks to educate the children of Our Lady of Mercy parish in the faith who do not attend a local Catholic School. PSR is moving to Sundays! PSR classes for 1st-8th grade students will now be held immediately following 9:00 am Mass until 11:45 am. The Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC) catechizes children who desire to become members of the Church and prepares them to receive the Sacraments of Initiation.

Titus 2 Mothers' Day of ReflectionSaturday, September 14th 8:00 am - 3:00 pm Parish Activity Center
Why “Titus 2?” The second chapter of Titus in the Bible challenges women to share wisdom and encouragement about marriage and motherhood with other women. That kind of community can be tough to come by in today’s world, though. We are answering this beautiful call as a parish faith community to grow in friendship and speak encouragement to one another. Join us for a day when real women from the parish share their stories and wisdom about marriage and motherhood. None of our speakers have it all figured out, but sometimes, that’s exactly what we need to hear!
We'll visit the topics of "Tackling 'Mom Guilt' and the Dangers of Comparison" and "Disenchanted: Speaking Truth, Hope, and a Sense of Humor into Real-Life Marriage."
