Chronicle Editor’s report (Mailings in March, May, June, July, August, and October):
The next mailing is May. Rental Report:
Shelley was unavailable to attend the meeting.
Ivonne discussed the need to purchase a receipt book and a red stamp that marks “paid” for Clubhouse rentals. The idea was discussed, and it was decided Shelley could print a receipt on letterhead when asked for one instead of making the purchase.
Pool Manager’s report:
Jaime Beckwith was introduced as the new Pool Manager. She was one of the Assistant Managers last year. Trevor Luescher and Brianna Kilkenny were promoted to Assistant Managers. Brad and Jaime have been working on interviews for Gate Guards and Lifeguards. They are hopeful to have the staff in place for the pool soon.
Swim Team Report:
None presented.
May 2014 Page 11
Associate Membership Chairperson:
78 people have paid for their Associate Membership so far. Pat is concerned about the low number of current sign ups. There are six new members so far.
Facility Report:
Two toilets need to be replaced in the Men’s pool bathroom. Brad will make the purchases and get them installed.
There have been a few spots in the lining surface of the Racing Pool that have been chipping away. Brad recommends we call the underwater repairperson to do patches for the lining. He will notify the Board what the cost of the repairs will be.
Shawn made a motion to purchase ten umbrellas and stands from Costco. The umbrellas are $119 and the stands are $59. The Board voted 7 to 1 in favor of purchasing the umbrellas.
Ivonne will look up prices for pads to cover the white plastic chairs and compare the cost of purchasing new lounge chairs. This will be presented for future consideration of purchasing.
Brad would like to put off the purchasing of reels for the donated pool covers due to the Quicksilver Swim Team not contracting for the use of the pool this spring. Ivonne will look into storing the covers at Silver Creek High School during the summer.
Brad is still looking into a diving board replacement.
Deborah looked into getting new chairs for the Clubhouse. She recommends we purchase 50 new chairs for a cost of $574 pre tax (not including the cost of shipping.) The purchase is to be made from FoldingChairs4Less.com. The Board unanimously approved the purchase.
Old business:
None to discuss.
New business:
Greg Othon would like to advertise the Laurelwood Elementary School Open House that will be hosting food trucks as a fundraiser for the school. The Board approved the use of the signboard to advertise this event.

th,) allowing the use of the facilities bathrooms for the July
4th Parade, and for the Creekside Homeowner’s Association to pay the cost to close Burl Avenue
for the Block Party on National Night Out (like we did last year.) The Board unanimously approved the motion to support these community events.
Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 8:52 p.m. Minutes prepared by Shawn Francis
