Memo: 2017-1 Date: December 15, 2016 To: All Flowerama Store Owners Re: 2017 Valentine's Day Fresh Flower Promotions This memo contains special Fresh Flower Designs and special containers we will be featuring in our stores nationwide for Valentine's Day 2017. These designs are calculated to yield at least a 70% overall gross profit margin. Your retail pricing may differ somewhat depending upon the landed cost of your product. Last year we tested a few higher priced, mixed vase/rose designs in the company shops. These retailed at $149.99 and $199.99. They were displayed out of the coolers on the sales floor on the 13th and 14th. Some of our stores sold 2 to 3 of these designs. These will have specialty cuts including tropical flowers, orchids, etc. As a result, we will feature two to four of these arrangements again this year. "Sweet Hearts"

In years past we have featured two foam arrangements in the Flowerama Valentine's plan. We are eliminating the five roses with a stargazer lily that retailed for $49.99. This simplifies the program and saves labor.
