MEETING SPONSORS
PEMA 2015 Autumn Members Meeting
26 - 29 October 2015 | The Westin Bund Center | Shanghai, China
WELCOME
1
We are delighted to welcome you to this year’s PEMA Autumn Members
Meeting in Shanghai.
This is the first time that PEMA has staged a meeting in China and
represents yet another big step in fulfilling our Association’s international
remit, following our last two Autumn meetings in Malaysia and Dubai. The
meeting is an excellent chance to connect with our member company
representatives based across China, as well as to welcome guests from
the Chinese and North Asian port and terminal community. China and
North Asia will invest heavily in port automation and advanced handling
technologies over the coming few years to meet the demands of larger
vessels and trade growth and this meeting provides a valuable opportunity
to take stock of the industry’s needs.
As traditional equipment manufacturing and high-tech innovation
increasingly converge to help port and terminal operators improve their
operational efficiency, PEMA continues to provide a unique forum for
peer-to-peer dialogue and communication, as well as to engage with our
customers and other key stakeholders. As usual, our Autumn meeting
should provide plenty of opportunities for us to share experiences,
challenges and goals, and to forge and strengthen the personal friendships
that underpin our industry.
Ottonel Popesco
PEMA President
