SpringboardUnit 1: Changes in Me. We will study storytelling. We will write a personal narrative about an incident that had an impact on our life. We will also write an expository essay about an incident that changed us.

Unit 2: Changes in My World. We will study and create short stories. We will also pick a story and create a news broadcast. Presentations will be videoed and presented in groups.

Unit 3: Changes in Self Perception. This is a novel study of HOLES. We will write and use film clips to study characterization.

Unit 5: Changes in Times and Places. We will research an everyday item and measure its impact on society.
