Meet the Teacher Afternoon
Last Tuesday, the Primary staff held a meet the teacher information afternoon and barbeque. Thank you to those parents who took the opportunity to come along, meet their child/children’s teacher/s and hear about classroom programs, routines and expectations for the year. It makes such a difference to children when the school and home work closely together.
Zone Basketball Trials
Samantha and Angela McCubbin represented the school at the Zone PSSA Basketball Trials held in Tamworth last Thursday. Both girls played exceptionally well and were spotted by the selectors and are now off to the North West Trials. Congratulations Samantha and Angela on your success!
Zone Swimming
A team of students represented the school at the Zone PSSA Swimming Carnival held at Scully Park Pool last Friday. Students are to be congratulated as they swam well and enjoyed watching events and cheering on their team-mates. Representing the school at sporting, cultural or academic events is important as students feel pride in their achievements. It also develops responsibility and commitment in the individual.

Funky’s pop lives inside an old tree between two gum trees by a beautiful lake. Funky’s Pop by Jessica Wise Funky loves playing with his pop. They love swinging from tree to tree. Funky’s pop gave him his red underpants. Funky’s pop wears his glasses all the time. Funky loves his pop.
