UW Medicine’s maternal fetal medicine specialists consult on complex maternal medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and diseases of the heart, kidneys, lungs and immune system. They also provide prenatal screening and diagnosis of suspected fetal anomalies and genetic conditions, and consult on the results.
