MHT-CET ( MAHARASHTRA - COMMON ENTRANCE TEST ) MHT CET - Maharashtra Health and Technology Common Entrance Examination is the single exam conducted by Maharashtra State Government for admissions to health sciences, Engineering and pharmacy courses in private, Government, Aided & Unaided Colleges in Maharashtra. MHT CET 2012 Eligibility Criteria:-

MHT CET 2012 Paper Pattern:- The entrance exam for engineering entrance will consist of two papers of 1 and a half hours each:

Time required for One Question For ( P. C. B.) ? Total Ques. = Phy.50 + Chem.50 + Bio.100 Total Ques.= 200 Time : 3Hrs. So, Time period for one Ques. = 3hrs. / 200que. ……………… (Convert 3 hrs. into min.) = 3 × 60min. / 200 = 180min. / 200 = 180min. × 60 / 200 …………….. (Convert 180min. into sec.) = 10800 / 200 = 54 sec.

A I P M T ( ALL INDIA Pre - Medical / Dental Entrance Exam. )

All India Pre-Medical / Pre –Dental Entrance Examination is conducted by CBSE generally in the month of April. The examination is for admission to 15% of total seats in all Medical / Dental Colleges run by the Union of India , State Governments and other local bodies, except in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. PROCEDURE OF The Examination: CBSE Prepare a merit / Waiting list of candidates This is forwarded to the Director General of Health Services who allocates the seats, as per the candidate’s rank in the presence of the candidate or authorized representatives. In the event of a tie between two or more candidates, they are given preference on merit in the following order: A) The candidate who obtained higher marks in Biology, Chemistry OR Physics in the entrance examination , or B) the Candidate order in age.

ELIGIBILITY: Passed or appearing 12th class under 10 + 2 scheme conducted by any recognized Central / State Board, the candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging SC/ ST and OBC it is relaxed to 40 % AGE LIMIT : The candidate must have complete 17 years of age at the time of admission.

RESERVATION : 15 % for SC, 7.5% ST for all BDS/MBBS courses.

EXAMINATION PATTERN : The entrance examination for CBSE : AIPMT consist of two parts – Preliminary Exam. And Final Examination.

Preliminary Examination : The Preliminary Examination would consist of a single paper of 3 hrs. duration having 200 objective types question ( Physics & Chemistry (100) and Botany & Zoology (100) Each question would be of 3 marks with 1/3 Negative marking. Final Examination : ( Only for those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination) The final Examination would consist of two papers each of 2 hrs. duration The final Examination will have conventional (non- objective) questions to be answered in the Test Booklet supplied

Paper : 01 Would contain questions from Physics and Chemistry Paper : 02 Would contain questions from Biology ( Botany & Zoology)

METHOD OF SELECTION: The eligible candidate is required to appear at a competitive entrance test conducted by the institute. The examination will be 3.30 min. Duration and will consist of one paper consisting of four parts, Part A, B, C and D containing Multiple Choice Questions

A F M C ( ARMED FORCE MEDICAL COLLEGE )

It is a Ministry of Defense Institution under the administrative control of the Director General, Armed Forces Medical Services. The Entrance Examination for admission to the Armed Forces Medical College Pune is held every year generally on the first Sunday of May.

DURATION OF COURSE: 5 years & 6monthe including one year rotating internship

SEATS : 130 ( Boys 105 : Girls 25) SC-06, ST- 04

Scholarship: The Govt. will provide free accommodation and rations. Second class railway fare from college to residence to college during the period of Vacations a book subsidy of Rs. 8000/- during the training period, uniform allowance of Rs. 2000/- at the time of admission and subsequently Rs.500/- per year, for working and cleaning allowance.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : Candidate must have passed class 12th in first attempt in board OR an equivalent examination with English, PCB group with at list 60% marks in aggregate of science subjects with not less than 50% marks in English and PCB. Candidates who are appearing for class 12th are also eligible to apply provisionally.
