This course introduces you to film production
and the worlds of TV drama, film and music
video.
You will develop analytical and production
skills, an ability to decode the messages in our
media and gain experience in planning, making
and producing your own films.
We visit a range of places including the BFI in
London and the Warner Bros Studios - home of
Harry Potter!
You will get information about media events,
enjoy visits from professionals working in the
media and have opportunities to gain
experience working in areas of the media.
Our students have gone on to study media
production and other media related courses at
many universities with excellent production
facilities. Equally, the skills needed to be
successful in Media Studies: excellent analytical
skills, teamwork and attention to detail are all
valued by many courses and employers.
