About Radio Seoul

Radio Seoul first started broadcasting on September 25th, 1992 as Radio Hanguk (Korea) AM 1300.

Following the year of 1993, changed its name to FM Seoul and as of 1996,

It became today’s Radio Seoul AM 1650.

It emerged as one of the best radio broadcast stations in the greater Los Angeles Korean community.

Radio Seoul AM 1650 covers the wide range of news, music and entertainment programs to provide the

most up to date accurate information to the Korean-American community.

Radio Seoul with its sister-company ‘The Korea Times US’ hosts large events like Hollywood Bowl Korean

Music Festival and much more to provide leadership in politics, economics, community, and

entertainment areas.

Radio Seoul, as one of the largest Asian-Pacific group, is broadcasting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and

covers all over Southern California with the best sound quality.

Not only limited to California, we also provide news and entertainment programs to other locations such

as Hawaii. We have developed as the Global Radio Broadcasting Company with our mobile app and

Main Events

Radio Seoul continuously strive to provide high-quality information and to deliver Korean

tradition and culture to the US by hosting the wide variety of off-line events to spread Korean

culture and heritage.

Radio Seoul’s main events include one of the largest Korean-American community event known

as “LA Korean parade” annually for decades and our company was at the core of the event to

lead Korean-American community’s growth.

Radio Seoul hosts many diversified events such as Annual Hollywood Bowl Music Festival, so-

called Korean community’s ‘Master’s cup’ Baek-Sang Golf Tournament, for the younger

generations we host children’s music competition, and to enrich the Korean culture we host

traditional writing competition and many more. All hosted together with The Korea Times US.

Additionally, Radio Seoul hosts live radio programs, inviting professionals from diverse

background to host programs like live tax seminars and educational programs. Radio Seoul

always strive to provide helpful information to support Korean-American community’s growth

and to enrich the community’s political standards.
