    ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I am PARWEZ ANSARI student of B.Tech, MECH. ENGINEERING

Branch ofMJRP UNIVERSITY,TALAMOD, JAIPUR considered training to be a

challenging job. My summer training was an enlighten experience for me , I wish to thanks

all individuals who help me in one-way or the other.

I acknowledge a deep sense of gratitude towardsMR.AMIT KUMAR of

MechanicalEngineering. I am also grateful to MR.MAROOF ANSARI Lecturer (ME) fortheir valuable suggestion which helped me in completing my report.

We are very glad to thank

Sri GAYA SHUKLA General Manager, P.T.P.S.

    Sri R.K.LAL E.S.E (Trg.)

Sri R.C. SAHU Electrical Executive Engg. (Trg.)

    ABSTRACT

A rapid rise in the use of electricity is placing a very heavy responsibility onmechanical engineering undertaking to maintain their mechanical network in perfect

condition, so young engineers is called upon to do design, system, planning and construction

and maintenance of electric system before he had much experience and practice soon he may

be responsible for specialize operation in an ever expanding industry. Theoretical knowledge

gained in their college courses need to be supplemented with practical knows how to fact this

    professional challenges.

As an integrated part of our B.Tech syllabus in mechanical engineering, we have to

undergo the practical training of 30 working days at various mechanical engineering

concerns. Thus as a part of practical training I was required to undergo practical training as

per stipulations of ordinance of Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. I undertook my

practical training at Patratu Thermal Power Station, Patratu, Ramgarh, Jharkhand.

Since my training center was of Feeder Renovation Program hence I have included all

updated information, to the extent possible, including general introduction about

transmission, distribution system of electrical and brief description of Feeder Renovation

Program in this study repost. The period of training was from 02/07/2012 to 31/07/2012. This

report dealt with the practical aspect of general theory and technical data/details , which I

have gained during the training period at Patratu Thermal Power Station, Patratu, Ramgarh,

    Jharkhand.
