Meadowbrook Care Center and Wound Specialists of Greater Cincinnati partner to provide high quality wound care within the Skilled Nursing Facility setting MCC has partnered with Dr. Arti Masturzo and her staff of Nurse Practitioners to provided advanced wound care. is partnership offers weekly rounds by a Certified Nurse Practioner that specializes in wound, ostomy care along with education on preventative measures. e Nurse Practioner meets with the interdisciplinary team consisting of the dietician, therapist, Care Manager and DON on a weekly basis to ensure the best plan of care in a holistic manner. WHY CHOOSE MEADOWBROOK FOR WOUND CARE? Each resident has a specialized treatment plan that is specific to their needs to achieve the highest outcome. Our residents are seen daily by a Wound Care Nurse for skin rounds and treatments as well as weekly with a Nurse Practitioner. We have close communication with the Primary Care Physician and Wound Specialists of Greater Cincinnati. Types of Wound Care that are available: • Wound VAC-trained nurses to maintain wound vac 24 hours a day • E-STIM-daily ultrasound to increase blood flow • Mist erapy-type of debridement that breaks through the wound bed to stimulate Epi Flow-oxygen that is infused into the wound bed to improve healing time Meadowbrook is a progressive skilled nursing facility providing care and compassion in a therapeutic, faith based setting.
