Touch Judges
During the season we hold a number of home carnivals and club events. We rely on the support of parents/family members to help make everything run smoothly and ensure everyone has the best experience at our amazing Club. From helping with BBQ rosters, field set up and pack down and everything in between. Team Managers will liaise with parents as the need arises. We thank you in advance for all your support and providing your time to help ensure all our children have a successful year of Rugby.
GAME TIMES & LOCATIONS
Team managers will liaise with parents and players each week with location and times of games. The Friday before games we will post updated details of game times on Facebook as Rugby WA have been known to make last minute changes. Any queries on game times etc please refer to your team manager.

CANCELLATION OF GAMES AND TRAINING
• Rugby Union is a winter sport and we play in all weather conditions
• Under no circumstances are team managers/coaches to make the call of cancelling games
• Rugby WA will inform our Junior President if games are cancelled
• Junior President will advise all team managers via text as soon as notification is received. This will be with plenty of notice.
• If Teams don’t show to games the clubs reputation will be tarnished and clubs will not want to travel to our home carnivals which I’m sure no one wants
• Training cancellation is at coaches/managers discretion. It is the Coaches/Managers responsibility to inform players and parents
• If for any reason your child is unable to attend training and/or games it’s the parents responsibility to inform the manager ASAP incase they need to find extra players from other teams to help field a team.

UNIFORM
All players are expected to wear the proper Mandurah Pirates Club Uniform. No variation to club uniform or merchandise is permitted and must be purchased/ordered
through the club Merchandise Shop. This is to ensure we all look the same and when seen by other clubs they know who we are.

SPONSORSHIP
We have a number of club sponsorship packages available from sponsoring Junior playing
Jerseys to signage at our club grounds. Interested parties are encouraged to contact our sponsorship coordinator

FUNDRAISING
Teams are encouraged to do team fundraising events to help with costs such as team tracksuits, team bags and team windups. Please ensure any merchandising is purchased through our club merchandise store. (No
outside merchandising is permitted)
- All fundraising events to be approved by the Junior committee - Large fundraising events to be held by multiple age groups to evenly distribute profits
and assist with organising and running of events. - No food fundraising to be held on Thursday night training. This prevents competition
with club kitchen. - No individual team fundraising permitted during club events such as home games and
carnivals. As all proceeds from such club events go directly back to the club to be distributed to all junior/senior teams.

CODE OF CONDUCT
This document provides the guidelines for acceptable behavior of our junior players, members and parents. Information will be distributed by managers to all players at the start of the season. The Club encourages players and parents to become familiar with the all behaviours and guidelines outlined in this document.
INSURANCE
Our club insurance is limited. For more details please see your team manager for our policy Brochure. Parents are encouraged to take out additional private health insurance if possible. This is highly recommended for families on 457 visas and those families not currently covered by Medicare. Please remember that players must be fully registered including payment of registration fees before the start of the season to take the field for Round 1. No Pay No Play.
