mostrare.

ARCH.: Certamente.Inoltre i sormonti delle

ante sui ripiani e sullespalle, mantenendo lestesse caratteristichepresenti in Tao Day,potrebbero generare

spessori di progetto di38mm sia per gli uni cheper le altre. Quindi lospessore e il materiale

delle spalle potrebberoconferire al sistema una

stabilità che darebbe allo

scaffale l'opportunità diessere appeso tramite tasselli direttamente sulmuro, creando così uninusitato effetto di

leggerezza ed anche unpiù igienico distacco dalpavimento.

ING.: Potremmo pensaread un utilizzo piùschematico in modo cheil cliente finale non debba

avere difficoltà nellospostamento dei ripiani;ad esempio occorrerebbeuna foratura sistematica,

forse a passo 80mm, con fori molto discreti chenon superino i 3mm didiametro, un foro quasiinvisibile.

ARCH.: Perfetto; pensoquindi a piani e relativireggipiani con le

caratteristiche che haiappena menzionato per poter spostare i ripianimanualmente con la sola

forza delle dita, tigarantiresti così unmodo compositivo diposizionamento deiripiani che utilizza sempre

il nostro “gioco grafico”di combinazione modulicon distanza daripiano a ripiano di

80, 160, 240, 320, 400,480… mm.

ING.: Dovremmo pensare

ad un sistema chedebba contenereall’interno del suosviluppo tutto ciò che èstato previsto da prodotti

equivalenti sul mercato.Parlo ad esempio diangoli interni ed esterni, terminali leggeri, ante

scorrevoli a terra, antescorrevoli sospese e luciinserite ovunque; perché,non dimentichiamolo,

la luce ha sempre unagrande valenza emotivanel progetto: inseritanella parte sottostante

del mobile può crearemaggior sensazione dileggerezza.Rimanendo in tema didesign, qual è il tuo

pensiero sull'influenzadei sistemi a spallanell’utilizzo dei Flat TV?

ARCH.: Qui si impone unripensamento: bisognaeliminare le grandiprofondità destinate solo

all’appoggio del TV a tubo catodico o similari.Le case sono diventatepiù piccole: ne consegueche i programmi a spalla

devono avere minimeprofondità e miglioriperformance per ilcontenimento dei Flat TV,

inoltre MisuraEmme hagià utilizzato il TV LCD

con uno dei v

composizioni fino a quisviluppate. Inoltre,all'azienda mancherebbeun programma spalla

portante che, come ha fatto Tao Day, rompesse

gli schemi rispetto ai

modelli già visti.

ARCH.: Sarebbeinteressante importare ilconcetto stesso dei

bussolotti ma con la variante di poterlisospendere: una verainnovazione che reinventa

il concetto di libreria.I pannelli che lacompongono, liberandosidel loro peso effettivo,

consentirebbero allescaffalature di poter essere sospese dandoun nuovissimo senso di

“leggerezza visiva”.

ING.: Appendere al murocrea delle difficoltà.

ARCH.: Occorre romperela tradizione, cercaremateriali diversi dal solitoe trovare una valida

alternativa al truciolare, ilprotagonista di quasi tuttii progetti esistenti.

ING.: Certo, sul mercatoesistono altri materiali,ma con costi sicuramentedifferenti dal truciolare.

ARCH.: Vero; ma imolteplici beneficiandrebbero acompensare l'eventuale

maggior onere senzaincidere in modo

particolare sul costo

totale del prodotto.

ING.: Per realizzarequesto ambiziosoobiettivo, il nostro Centro

Ricerche ha individuatoun materiale dotato dimassima stabilità eindiscutibile leggerezza:

un listellare di pioppoa 3 strati incrociati.Si realizza alternando unostrato di legno con la

vena in una direzionestabilita e lo stratosuperiore con la vena indirezione ortogonale

rispetto alla precedente,e così per gli altri stratisuccessivi. Il pioppo èun legno estremamenteleggero, facilmente

lavorabile e di agevolereperibilità sul territorio.Un legno “popolare” chenon impatta

negativamentesull’ambiente, con unaricrescita molto più veloce di altre essenze.

ARCH.: Con il nuovoprogramma lo scaffale tradizionale manterrebbe tutte le peculiarità

storiche e consolidate nel tempo: quelle tipicheappunto del programmaa “spalla portante”. Grazie

alla stabilità del materialeutilizzato, nascerebbe la

possibilità di utilizzare, al

posto della vite, un perno facilmente sfilabile espostabile con il soloausilio delle dita dellemani.

ING.: Inoltre, sempre aproposito di nuovimateriali, un beneficio

immediato, acompensazione di unmaggior costo, potrebbeessere quello di utilizzare

moduli più lunghi senzadover intervenire conbarre di sostegno control'imbarcamento.

Questo vantaggio puòessere visto anche comepossibilità di portaremaggior peso a paridimensione di lunghezza

del modulo.

ARCH.: Un ulteriore vantaggio potrebbe essere

l'assenza di schienali, inquanto, la squadra delloscaffale potrebbe essere tenuta, nella parte

superiore, dal fissaggiodelle spalle al muro.

ING.: E il programma TaoDay che vantaggio ne

trarrebbe?

ARCH.: Tao Day sirinnoverebbe

sospendendo a muro isuoi elementi distintivi:

ARCH.: A further advantage “free fromback panels” - the

ING.: And what does TaoDay get out of it ?

ARCH.: Tao Day would

refresh the living roomprogram by fitting to thewall their characteristicelements: big side panel

and top. The Crossingprogram can bepositioned next to theseelements or be

incorporated thuscompleting the range.

ING.: By planning a newsystem with supporting

side panel, it would beuseful that the frontswould have the samedimensions as Tao Day,

so one can have thesame doors and handleson different programs in

the same room.Containers andbookcases cross each

other, revealing through their elements containingand displaying functions.

ARCH.: Of course.Moreover the doorsoverlap on the shelvesand on the side panels,

maintaining the same features as Tao Day,creating shelves and sidepanels with a thickness

of 38mm. Therefore the thickness and thematerial of the sidepanels give the system astability which allows the

shelf to be hung directly to the wall with brackets,creating an unusuallightness effect and also

a more hygienicdetachment from the floor.

ING.: We should thinkschematic use to enable the customer to position the shelves without any

difficulty, for examplepre-drilled every 80 mm,using very little holeswith a max of 3mm diam therefore practically

invisible.

ARCH.: Perfect. we couldrealise shelves and shelf-

supports with the features you have justmentioned. To move

shelves easily by hand. This would guaranteepositioning of the shelves

with our “graphical effect”of modules with differentdistances betweenshelves for example

ING.: So, we should think

about design, how do you think that this sidepanel system wouldinfluence the use of flatscreen TV’s?

ARCH.: This has to becarefully examined. It’snecessary to eliminate

up till now. Furthermore,a supporting side panelprogram would also benecessary , which, like

the Tao Day system,would differ from currentmodels.

ARCH.: It would beinteresting to use thesame concept as thecontainers but with thedifference of being able

to suspend them.

It would be a realinnovation which couldrefresh the bookcaseconcept. The panels,

with less weight, wouldcreate a hangingbookcase at last! givinga new feeling of “visuallightness”.

ING.: Hanging on thewall creates somedifficulties.

ARCH.: It’s necessary tobreak with tradition, tolook for different

materials and to find analternative to chip board,which is the mainelement of most existing

projects.

ING.: Of course, other materials exist on themarket but are more

costly than chip board.

ARCH.: That is true butseveral advantageswould compensate for the higher cost, without

affecting the totalproduction costs toomuch.

ING.: To reach this

ambitious goal, our Research Centre has found a material of highstability and lightness:

three layers of poplar wood, realised byalternating wooden layerswith the grain in a fixed

direction and the upper layer with the grain in theperpendicular directionwith respect to the

previous one and so on for the following layers.Poplar is an extremelylight wood, easilyworkable and found

without difficulties on the

market. A “poplar” woodwhich has no negativeimpact on theenvironment as it grows

quicker than other typesof wood.

ARCH.: This newprogram maintains the

traditional bookcase inall its historical andconsolidated features; those of a supporting

side panel system. Thanks to the stability of the material used, itwould be possible to use

a pin instead of a screw,which can be easily taken out and movedsimply by hand.

ING.: Moreover, stillrefering to new materials,an immediate advantage to compensate for the

higher cost, allows to

Una vera innovazione reinventa il concetto libreria.

I pannelli che la compongono, liberandosi dal loro

peso, consentono alle scaffalature di poter essere

sospese, dando un nuovissimo senso di “leggerezza

visiva”. Il nostro Centro Ricerche ha individuato un

materiale dotato di massima stabilità e indiscutibileleggerezza: un listellare di pioppo a 3 strati tra di

loro incrociati, placcato tra due strati di MDF e

impiallacciato.

A real innovation refreshes the concept of bookcases.

The panels of which it consists, with less weight,

allow the bookcase to be hanging giving a very new

sense of “visible lightness”. Our Research Centre has

found a material of high stability and undeniable

lightness: three crossing layers of solid poplar wood

in between two layers of MDF and veneered.

Con il nuovo programma, lo scaffale tradizionale

mantiene tutte le peculiarità storiche e consolidate

nel tempo: quelle tipiche appunto del programma a

“spalla portante”. Grazie alla stabilità del materiale

nasce la possibilità di utilizzare, al posto della vite,

un perno facilmente sfilabile e spostabile con il solo

ausilio delle dita delle mani.

This new program maintains the traditional bookcase

in all its historical and consolidated features; those

of a supporting side panel system. Thanks to the

stability of the material used, it would be possible to

profondità degli schermi e delle apparecchiature,

anche le profondità delle spalle, soprattutto i vani

Crossing, the reply to the new requirements of Flat

screen TV tecnology. As the depths of the screens and

equipments are getting slimmer and slimmer, also the

Il pioppo è un legno estremamente leggero,

facilmente lavorabile e di agevole reperibilità sul

territorio. Un legno “popolare” che non impatta

negativamente sull’ambiente grazie ad una ricrescita

più veloce di altre essenze. Utilizzando il nuovo

materiale siamo in grado di sospendere anche le

soluzioni angolari.

Poplar wood is an extremely light type of wood, easily

workable and found without difficulties on the

market. A “poplar” wood, which has no negative

impact on the environment as it grows quicker than

other types of wood. Thanks to this new material

it is possible to create hanging corner elements.

composizioni a terra, disponibile anche per

composizioni sospese. I sistemi di illuminazione

hanno, invece, un duplice compito, un’utile funzione

illuminante ed un altrettanto piacevole effettoscenografico: all’interno dei vani l’una, sulla parte

sottostante il modulo l’altra; per creare maggior

sensazione di leggerezza.

system has a double function: providing necessary

light but also creating a spectacular scenic effect;

in between shelves and underneath the composition

to create an enhanced feeling of lightness.

La stabilità del materiale permette di organizzare

piani per vani larghezza 1280mm. senza dover

ricorrere a sostegni metallici. Peculiare in questa

composizione è il pattern tipico della poetica del

progettista che si può ritrovare sull’anta Segmenta

e tridimensionalmente nel programma Monos,utilizzando un gioco di “vuoti” e “pieni” con differenti

altezze e profondità.

The stability of the material allows to create shelves

for units with a max. width of 1280mm. without

using metal supports. Unique in this composition is

the typical pattern of the designer, which can also

easily be identified in the door Segmenta and the

three-dimensional Monos program thanks to an

“open” and “closed” effect using different heights

and depths.

Crossing è intersecamento di più programmi: è

abbiamo già citato, il fatto che MisuraEmme utilizza

vernici all’acqua, il nostro sistema diventa uno

dei “mobili più verdi” immessi sul mercato.

Crossing is an intersection of different programs: an

intersection of side panels, containers and panelling;

crossing of supporting side panels fitted to the wall;

crossing of perpendicular segments and special

bridges. Adding to the previous mentioned

characteristics the fact that MisuraEmme uses

water-soluble based varnish, our furniture becomes

one of the most “environmentally friendly” ever put

on the market.

THE LCD TV USED BY MISURAEMME, THE MOST FLAT TV SYSTEMS IN THE WORD, IS INTEGRATED PERFECTLY

IN THE SYSTEM. EQUIPPED WITH INTEGRATED TURNER THE LCD TV CAN BE FITTED IN CLOSED ELEMENTS

WITHOUT THE NEED FOR AIRING. DESIGNED TO BE POSITIONED BEHIND A GLASS PANE, FITTED WITH

PATENTED MAGNETIC BANDS, THEREFORE KEEPING THE DUST OUT, AND DOES NOT ALTER THE IMAGE. THE

SCREEN HAS A VERY LOW VOLTAGE (24 VOLTS) THE SAME AS A COMPUTER SCREEN BUT THIS DOES NOT

CHANGE THE GUARANTEE OF HIGH DEFINITION QUALITY (HDMI). THESE LOUDSPEAKERS, ALSO FIXED

BEHIND THE GLASS PANE OF THE TV, ARE REALISED USING A PARTICULAR TECHNOLOGY THAT ALLOWS THE

SURFACE OF THE GLASS TO FUNCTION AS A LOUDSPEAKER ITSELF. IN COMPLIANCE WITH STANDARD EU

REGULATIONS IN FORCE.

IL TV LCD UTILIZZATO DA MISURAEMME, IL VIDEO PIÙ PIATTO AL MONDO, SI INTEGRA PERFETTAMENTE NEL

SISTEMA. DOTATO DI TUNER INTEGRATO PUÒ ESSERE INSERITO NEL MOBILE IN SICUREZZA APPLICATO

INTERNAMENTE AL VETRO CON SUPPORTI MAGNETICI BREVETTATI E SENZA BISOGNO DI VENTILAZIONE,
