There are many BBC opportunities and they only promote free ones. BBC can’t promote opportunities from organisations outside the BBC which are for novel writing, short stories, poetry etc.

Sending Scripts

What they look for?

They look for what the script tells them about the writer. They see all scripts as a calling car to showcase a writer’s talent, ability and voice. They look for what a writer can deliver in script form rather than unscripted ideas.

How to submit?

Scripts should be submitted to their online e-submissions system. Submissions can only be made when the submission window is open. They want the best possible draft and you should only submit when your script is ready, even if it means waiting for a later script room submission window.
