Celebrating Student Successes

We want to acknowledge and celebrate the accomplishments of the students of MDJH. We have a wall of celebration where we place a certificate of acknowledgement highlighting participation and success in a variety of activi-ties. We want to know if your child has partici-pated in any plays, musicals or has been on a team that has won some title or has been recognized in any individual competition. We need your help with this. Please let us know so we can proudly display this on our wall. Please email [email protected] with Celebrate YOUR CHILD’S NAME in the subject line.

Yearbook Photos

Anyone that has a team or group photo to submit to the yearbook, please email their photo to [email protected]. Any pictures taken from a cellphone should be sent selecting “actual size” not “thumbnail” to ensure the quality is correct for uploading to the yearbook.

Team pictures are needed. If any parent, student or coach has a picture of a school team, please email it to [email protected].

MDJH School Science Fair 2017 Our school science fair on March 17, was a success again this year. We had over 200 projects with about 300 students presenting; 23 members of the St. John's scientific community came to our school as judges. They were very impressed with the overall calibre of the projects and enjoyed the experience of talking with our students. The teachers in the science department are proud of all our students who participated and are excited to announce the top projects of the MDJH Science Fair 2017. Grade 7

SPCA Pet Drive

The 3rd annual SPCA pet drive was a great success this year. The Macdonald Drive Junior High Outreach Team collected items at the office during February. We also had a ticket sale on a Movie Night at Cineplex and the money raised was given to the St. John’s SPCA. Many thanks go to all the people who donated and helped with this drive, but we want to say a special thank you Morgan Escott who brought in many items that will be greatly appreciated by all the animals at the SPCA.

Thanks to the Macdonald Drive Junior High community for their support once again.
