OverviewThe Primatics MDC2100 is a highlyintegrated multi-axis motion controlsystem. A Galil high performancemotion controller is embedded, offeringadvanced features such as PID compen-sation with velocity and accelerationfeed-forward, program memory withmultitasking for simultaneously runningup to four programs, and uncommittedI/O for synchronizing motion withexternal events. Modes of motionincluding point-to-point positioning,jogging, linear and circular interpolation,contouring, electric gearing and ECAM.The MDC2100 uses a simple, English-like command language which makes it

very easy to program. Communicationdrivers are available for DOS, Linuxand all current Windows operatingsystems. RS232 & Ethernet 10-base-Tare standard communication interfaces.

DrivesAll power supplies, wiring and safetycircuits are contained in the chassis. Each axis can drive brush or brushless servo motors with encoder feedback. Gain and Current limits are programmable. For stepper drives, see the MDC2200. For a mix of stepper and servo, see the MDC1400.
