Massimo has contributed to streamline the financial information flow within Generali, improving the global disclosure of company and the overall reporting process of the Group. These results were possible also thanks to a very effective team building approach based on young and talented colleagues, who are now running important responsibilities within Generali Group. One of his toughest challenges has been to improve the collaboration between the Financial Reporting department and the IT one: connecting the potentiality of the technology to the real needs of the reporting area is not easy but the benefits may be incredible! Massimo is also active in the international discussion on financial reporting issues: for example he is member of the European Insurance CFO Forum (‘CFO Forum’) a high-level discussion group formed by the major European listed insurance companies. Its aim is to influence the development of financial reporting, value based reporting, and related regulatory developments for insurance enterprises on behalf of its members, who represent a significant part of the European insurance industry. In addition he is playing an important role in the Italian discussion thanks to his participation in some relevant national working group focusing on accounting issues. In 1994 Massimo got the degree (Summa Cum laude) in Economics from Trieste University after having taken some exams in UK and in Spain. After two years he was Chartered Accountant in Italy. Born in 1971, Massimo is living in Italy with his wife and his three kids.
