ST. PHILIP NERI-FEAST DAY MAY 26
St. Philip Neri had quite a sense of humor. Many people wrongly feel that such a personality cannot be combined with an intense spirituality. Philip’s attitude melts our rigid, narrow views of piety. His approach to sanctity was truly catholic, all-embracing, and accompanied by a good laugh. Philip always wanted his followers to become not less but more human through their striving for holiness.

Bike-a-Thon for St. Jude’s Hospital
St. Max Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten teamed up to plan a Bike-a-Thon to raise money for St. Jude’s Hospital for children. All week, students have been watching videos and discussing bike safety. They earned their bicycle license. Parents brought the students’ bikes, trikes and scooters along with their helmets. After riding, they enjoyed water ice and soft pretzels. The morning proved to be a lot of fun, educational and for a worthy cause. Thank you Mrs. Jaskot for organizing this event.
