HORSE JUDGINGThe Intermediate Team placed 2nd, consisting of Allison Divin, Victoria Saucedo and Savannah Graves. The Senior Team, consisting of Grace Gillespie and Landrey Jackson placed 5th. Savannah was 4th high Int. Individual, Allison was 11th, and Victoria was 14th. Grace was 14th high Senior Individual and Landry was 17th. Presley Graves was 18th high Junior Individual. Great job, girls!

LIVESTOCK JUDGINGThe Senior Team, consisting of Quinton Whitfield, Bayli Williams, Will Pettit & Tanner Barnes, placed 3rd. The Intermediate team consisting of Jessica Dammers, Weston Pettit, Sidney Love &

The Pasture to Packer Banquet was held on April 25 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center. During the banquet the results of the program were announced along with the participants and sponsors being recognized.

12 4-H members participated in the program this year. Junior participants included: Allissa Adams, Brady Estes, Carson Ballinger, Cole Stanley, Kase Renfro, Randi Williams and Weston Pettit. In the Senior Division participants included Aidan Delaney, Bayli Williams, Luke Fritts, Tanner Barnes and Will Pettit.

TEXAS STATE 4-H HORSE SHOWJuly 19 - 26, 2014Taylor Co. Expo Center in Abilene, TXEntry deadline: Contestants must register for the State 4-H Horse Show on the 4-H Connect system within 48 hours after their District Horse Show ends. Contestants cannot enter a Qualifying Division at State, unless they showed in at least one class within that same division at District. Contestants do not have to show at District, in order to show in the Open Divisions at State.Horses MUST be validated to be shown at the District or State Horse Show!

May is the month when all 4-H clubs hold officer elections. Therefore it is very important for as many members to attend the May monthly club meetings as possible. Contact your Club Manager if you are interested in, or would like more information about running for an office.

Also, many clubs will do something a little different, like a cookout or end of year celebration. Please check the list below for May Club Meeting dates & times.

Officer Elections for County Council and District Delegates will be held on

Tuesday, May 27 at 6pm at the Extension Office

RSVP by May 22nd as food will be provided.

• Morgan Mill 4-H Club will be at Tractor Supply on Sunday May 4th from 2-4 for a bake sale. After the bake sale we are going to Cici's Pizza for a short last meeting of the year and an end of the year party.

• Huckabay Club will meet at 4 pm on WEDNESDAY, May 7th at the Huckabay Fire Station

• Dairy Club meeting will be held on Thursday, May 22 at 6 pm at the City Park in Gazebo area. The club will be providing pizza for all members.

• Shooting Sports Club will meet at Roy Green's farm for hot dog supper at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 6th. Awards from Extravaganza and District contest and election of offices for next year. Shotgun practice schedule from Shelby White.

• Lamb & Goat Club will meet at 5 PM on May 23rd at Victoria Saucedo's house for a hot dog supper and swim party.
